I really bought this book to brush up on my mechanical aptitude skills for upcoming job tests. Glad I got it because I thought I knew how to solve these problems before.

Helped with my test preparation . Loved the simplicity of the content, illustrations, practice questions and answers.

Book is very informative in things you need to study for Ramsey test.

I purchased this book immediately after a horrible job interview. Apparently, taking a mechanical aptitude test to prove my 35 yrs in manufacturing/production is the norm now. This test had nothing to do with the job I was applying for, so needless to say I failed the 300 questioned test (that I didn't know I was taking before hand). This book is a must have for today's job application process, or just to refresh & sharpen your skills. The explanation(s) prior to the testing questions are clear & easy to understand. Some sections explain why one answer is better than another. Other sections are waaay above my head (Engineering) but educational nonetheless.My only regret is that I didn't purchase this book sooner which would have saved me some serious anguish & embarrassment. Buy it!!!

It helps explain why things work but they only give you like 2 practice questions

Worth the money! It has alot of examples but alot more tests in the book.This book does it in a way its easy to understand and apply it. I take my exam soon and the concepts are easy to understand and grasp all thanks to this book. The pictures in the book really do help a lot because I'm a visual person.
