A complete reference for art
Very interesting. Informative!

If You want to understand the basics of pencil art go for it
Very Nicely described techniques, Font itself is very small but drawings are quite understandable.Artworks are very good and can be followed by anyone who is enthusiastic. Human figures well made and Hands and feet are also very good in this book. For basics it covers everything. If you want to draw landscapes and still life objects then you can consider other books but for humans and characters, it is excellent.

Awesome book!
A great book to learn from. I had never drawn a portrait. I simply had no idea about the methods to follow in order to create a likeable drawing. Above is simply a copy of one of the chapters from this book that states the approach and stages of portrait drawing, followed by valuable instructions by the author. If you have the patience and enthusiasm to go through the instructions, you can learn a lot from this book. This book is a compilation of all the separate books authored by Mr. Giovanni Civardi. He is one of the greatest artists and an instructor time has seen. This book is helping me a lot.I am an engineer by profession and never have had an arts class after my schooling days.

Not at all for beginner.
The media could not be loaded. The book Is not for beginner to understand. It has advanced techniques pertaining to portrait and perspective and human anatomy drawings. Most of the book has portrays drawings only with a description of material used and size of the paper used. A few pages will give basic proportions. Hence it's a book recommended for advanced level of artists. As am looking for a beginner guide, am returning this book
