For months....the sticks are actually like 4-5 inches long, so you can easily cut them in half to make them last longer!

Q: If this is neem root (Azadirachta indica), why do you call it licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra)? What is the scientific name of the plant you are selling?

I have learned that licorice root is from the Newman plant.

Q: after chewing well, a kind of "pulp" forms in your mouth. Am I supposed to swallow the pulp or spit it out?

There are different ways to enjoy the root. One is to just leave in mouth, and enjoy the favor. The second is after being soften in the mouth, then chew like gun, until all juice is gone, BUT DO NOT SHALLOW THE ROOT>
