why does the  4 ounce say for large dogs? Is it the same potency? If dropper is larger,, how do you administer in drops? Thanks

The 4 oz dropper label is specific for Large Canine, because typically our customers with larger pets need to buy a larger bottle! However, the formula and potency for the 2 oz and and the 4 oz are exactly the same. You always administer as per your pet's weight - the drop sizes will be the same, as will the amount in ml, in each bottle size! I hope this helps!

Administer product orally twice daily.  Give one drop for every 2 lb (1kg) of body weight up to 50 lb.  Over 50 lb, add one drop per additional 4 lb (2kg).

Shake well before use. Does not require refrigeration.

The Pet Alive Kidney Support is similar in that it is a natural and herbal supplement that is designed to support the kidneys. It contains ingredients that we've used in some of Pet Wellbeing's formulas, but it has no overlapping ingredients with our Kidney Support Gold. They would act very differently, being that all of the ingredients are different, but if you'd like to use them together, that would be fine.

Kidney Support Gold has been formulated by our staff veterinarian, Dr. Janice Huntingford, who is one of the directors of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. It has been going through clinical studies due to the success that we've had with it. It should help with elevated levels (generally BUN and Creatinine) and it helps to eliminates toxins and waste, which can cause some aggravating symptoms. You may use Kidney Support Gold with any medication that is not a conventional blood thinner, and it is very gentle.

In viewing the ingredients on Pet Alive's Kidney Support, I've noticed that there is no flavoring added. We use a natural bacon flavor that is 100% plant based, and is derived from a blend of herbs that are smokey to taste, and very similar to bacon. There is also no added sugar or sodium in the flavoring, and it has proven in our testing to be the safest flavoring that most pets gravitated towards.

LOL, I know what it means to have a finicky eater - my girl is a chow they are known to be that and she is! Bella doesn't like the dropper that comes with product,  so I use a small syringe. You will find this product will improve your lab's appetite,  it did Bella's.
