Originally bought the 9" version of this and was very impressed with it except the size was just too big for the dashboard.Decided to try a smaller version and got this one instead. It works exactly the same as the larger version but fits neater for a standard car.I have been using it with android auto and found it works well. It's connects as soon as you get in the car providing google maps which makes navigation easy.Very impressed with it so far. It is easy enough to fit. Only took about 15 minutes although if you intend to fit the rear camera you do need to run the cable though the car and then cut into the brake light cable for it to work automatically. I decided not to bother with that but instead just cabled the rear camera and then use the on screen button when I need it.Overall. Would easily recommend this to someone who needs to add phone connectivity to the car.

Great bit of kit!Been using the RC14 model for awhile and decided to pick one up for my work, as a driver in the motor trade getting into a different car each day, it's nice having a display I am used to for navigating as well as for media, and as a added bonus this model also has a Dashcam, perfect!Same great display as the larger model, goes very bright for direct sunlight and gets very dim for night driving as well (Just make sure you unlock the full brightness slider in the settings).The rear cam looks good I just don't use it as for my use case would be too much work each time setting up and packing away.Plenty of ways to mount it so should be easy to setup in whatever vehicle you have, personally I prefer the suction mount as I know it's more than strong enough to hold the bigger screen even at full extension, this smaller one is no problem what so ever.The Mic's have no issues with picking me up for Android auto and calls are crisp and clear.While it does have an inbuilt speaker it's not overly loud so it's advised to use the included AUX cable to connect to the car stereo or connect via bluetooth as a second device for media output, that way the stereo controls as well as the steering wheels functions work flawlessly for controlling volume and media playback.The initial connection is easy, select android auto or apple carplay, use bluetooth on your phone to connect and your away, as simple as that!The speed of the connection and the responsiveness depends on your phone, so long as you don't have an old device or a super budget model that struggles to open maps then everything will work fine!

The media could not be loaded. Just purchased this CarPlay and dash cam smart/touchscreen stereo as I don’t have a touch screen or dash cam in my current carIt is an excellent item, that’s perfect solution for my carFitting out of the box was fast and set up was simple via Bluetooth 5.0 I have a iPhone XR with CarPlay it connected seamlessly once you have done this once it connects automatically after thatFunctionality is simple via touch screenThe touchscreen is responsive and sensitivity can be adjusted it’s lovely and clear vibrant colours and also just the right size at 6.7”I can play it through my car stereo unit or through the unit itself and access the apps from my iPhone such as music, maps, google maps etc and Siri which is handy for handsfree driving. Also has gps navigation maps etc I don’t have android however it can be set up with it also supports screen mirroring/android cast from your phone or airplay allow apps n the unit.There is an aux cable provided and support FM frequencies for the radio stationsIt has a split screen option for the dash cam and maps/music etc.the camera is a HD 2.5k 1080p loop recording front and rear which is excellent value for moneyThe DVR camera lens is on the left of the unit facing forward and can be adjusted to get the best video or photo also records sound and you can play back video or photos which is handy if any accidents/incidents occur the rear camera is waterproof and again simple to fit via the supplied cables make sure you follow the instructions in the provided booklet to set the reverse camera upIncluded is a 64gb micro sim the camera will overwrite the video on loop I find the dash cam to be excellent quality (see pictures in my vehicle)I chose to fit the unit on top of my dashboard it doesn’t get in the way (see pics)I can I unclip the unit and take it with me or hide in the car if neededI and a passenger can reach the touch screen easily it starts automatically when ignition is on cable is via cigarette socket with a usb socket on top red light on it to attach phone cablethere is also a power on and off button on the top of the systemIt comes with various fixing bits such as a sucker arm that’s fully adjustable to fit to the windscreen.Also has a tool to use to push the cable out of sight you I cannot see my cable at allI cannot fault this stereo/dashcamFull instructions in English and a warranty card in the boxI would be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding set upI do recommend this system it’s way cheaper than getting a car electrician to fit a unitDelivered and well packaged by next day by the excellent Amazon prime

Straightforward to use, with plenty of different installation options. Android Auto works well. Good value for money.

I needed to bring a bit of modernity to my ageing infotainment system so I plumped for this product as I wanted both an android auto system and a dash cam. I have to say I find it does both superbly well considering the bargain price!The camera is clear and easy to configure and I am confident it will work as advertised if required.The fact I can use wireless android auto and still connect to my Bluetooth for car audio is fantastic. The screen works well and is reasonably responsive to touch, voice controls are rock solid.I haven't found an auto brightness setting which is a slight annoyance as I have to manually turn it up and down when driving in day or night but other than that it's been sat in my dash for 6 weeks and has worked flawlessly every time.Recommended.
