Love the idea of this banana ‘ lunch box’ and works a treat to keep the snack unbruised in my son’s school bag. It doesn’t close as securely as I would like unfortunately and pops open quite easily but this is solved by using an elastic band to keep it closed. Durable plastic and easy to wash.

This is a good quality banana holder and definitely nice and colourful for daughters school bag. It is easy to clip together and has kept the banana safe (also her bag from a squashed banana!). Would recommend.

This item is well made and protects SOME bananas very well. You just have to be careful to buy bananas that fit this case. After you have toured your local supermarkets and have found a banana that fits this case, then you can rest assured that your banana will be well protected. Unfortunately, for the majority of your bananas this protector will be of no use at all.This is a shame as the quality of the product itself is good and having an opening for the stem really helps. If only they had made the overall holder a bit wider, especially on the inside of the curved side - then it would have been far more useful as it would have handled many more real world bananas.Personally, I blame the banana growers for refusing to grow bananas that exactly match the "Ideal banana" on which this case was so lovingly modelled. I have written to the Home Secretary to ask them to urgently raise this issue with all major banana exporting nations and expect to see some action soon.My long running quest for the ideal banana guard continues.

I bought my friend at work this for Christmas, we always get each other something silly.He brings a banana into work everyday so I got him this to protect it and he uses it every day now.He loves it so it turns out it was a great gift.Does the job, he’s yet to find a banana big enough to fill the thing 😉😂
