Bought this in the hope it could replace the existing vauxhall key where the buttons were breaking away. What I received is excellent quality. No instructions but i found a great tutorial on YouTube. Bit fiddly in parts but fairly straightforward for any DIYer. Hardest part was opening the original key. So far it seems to be working perfectly.

This product is first class, the case looks and works identically to the original. The tool kit (basically a pin punch) is a quality product and made the process of swapping the key blades very straightforward. It would not have been possible to complete the job without itI advise anybody looking to use this product to replace a damaged key case to view the various videos available online before doing so.The method of winding up the spring tension is a bit fiddly but with the advise given on the videos and a bit of patience it can be done even with my 76 year old hands,

Good quality however there are no instructions on how to open it and change the key blade or use the tools provided.Also not as simple as others have stated. Getting the pin into the key blade was troublesome. Would suggest advising on what tools are required to complete the tasks

This is a superb economical fix if you have a worn or damaged key fob. The included pin removal and insertion tool made swapping the key blade straight forward, a fiddly job without it!The only difficulty I had was opening the old fob to get the circuit board out without damaging it as the cover was firmly stuck and broke when I prized it off.Watch a couple of different YouTube tutorials to understand what needs to be done and how before you start.I was very happy with the result, and worth the effort.

It is okay and serves the purpose I bought it. It easy to assemble

Fantastic replacement. A little fiddly but ultimately doable. Even managed to transfer the original logo sticker onto the new fob. Saved myself a huge amount of money and time getting this instead of going to Vauxhall for a replacement.

Item is fine, although you need to watch the Youtube video in tandem with switching. Take note of the advice that you can't mix old and new parts, so can't just switch across the metal flick mechanism, need to change the old blade into the new flip holder. Also, beware of non standard Vauxhall key!! On mine, rather than just a small pin holding the blade into the flip holder, there was a second pin that needed drilling out, rather than knocking out. Only then could blade ne released.
