Big Display!
I won't be using this in my car, as I am past the days when I would need to create a romantic atmosphere while parked on a dark street. (LOL/SIGH.)I did, however, use this in the man cave and I love it. I have multiple lighting units all around the place and have created a real lounge effect. The units I have that make the starry effect like this one are always green. Now at last I finally have red and it looks SO COOL.This is so small and so convenient. I just plugged it into the USB port on a power strip that I have and aimed it at the ceiling. It makes a big display and you can adjust the starfield with the nozzle on the end by turning it one way or the other. I get as much action from this as I do from other units that use either remotes or batteries. This has neither and is thus the most trouble-free, the most space-saving and the most satisfying to look at and enjoy.The cord is firm and can be directed in any direction at any angle. The whole thing feels good and made to last.Finally, after reviewing the listing I see that this also comes in purple, another hard-to-find color for party lights. That one is now in my cart for my next Amazon-Day delivery! I feel like I am getting away with something at only $8.99, frankly.

beware do not purchase!!
I received this product, and it barely covers a small portion of the vehicle. After just a week of use, it failed to work altogether. I strongly advise against purchasing this item.

Bright & Changeable Designs
Works great, just wasn't for me because my car's USB port was down by the cup holder only so it always shined in my eyes while driving. Would be no issue if the USB port was in a different spot in my car.

Wish it worked
Got to be honest. I had hoped thus item would be as described....but I could barely tell it even powered on. Tried several USB Jack's to no avail. Lighting is hardly even discernable. Can't recommend it based on the item I received.
