Great file. Bought to go in my whittling tin. As others have said, the curved side is quite shallow but it works OK for a thumb stick hold. Nice that there are two grade options on each side.Great size for portability and excellent value for a 2 pack.

quality multi rasp that is going to become one of my favourite tools. At first site I was impressed
Outstanding bit of kit - and from a company I never heard of, a really solid, quality multi rasp that is going to become one of my favourite tools. At first site I was impressed, but slightly concerned that the course rasp was too course and the fine rasp too fine, but in practtice, on the medium density wood I was using it on, its perfect for removing wood quickly and accurately using both the flat and rounded course rasp before finishing using the fine rasps, ready then for sanding. I'm sure this could be used to equal effect on a variety of wood types. My only qualification is that the rounded rasp has quite a low profile, so needs a bit of work to rasp out a deeper profile which you could accomplish more eaily with a deeper round section. But thats a trivial point, without doubt this is a very good, quality, versatile rasp, worth every penny.

Ideal for small woodworking jobs. Small enough to do minor repairs to a wooden door.
I had to plane off a hole left after removing a lock and smooth it enough to infill with wood.

Brittle material
Am I expecting too much? The metal is very brittle evident from its grainy structure. Sure it’s hard but there needs to be a balance between hardness and flexibility
