American Red Cross + Boost Oxygen | Extra Large 12L Canister (3 Pack)

What a great product!!! Having tried a similar product I have to say boosts quality is by far superior! From the mask to the simple task of shipping full cans and giving your customers their money's worth. I'm 59 and work in a rock quarry as a heavy equipment operator worried if I'd make it to retirement getting winded at the simplest tasks. I'm very healthy but years of dust and general abuse have taken its toll,but simply do five inhalations changed everything for me. Thank you for a great product!!!

I purchased these for my 84 year old mom who was taking a road trip with my sister to visit family in Colorado. She was nervous about the elevation and less oxygen so I purchased these more for her peace of mind than anything - however, she actually did use them every so often. She said it helped. Having said that, the cans arrive and feel completely empty. - Oxygen has no weight. A little un-nervey at first. The top of the can has a type of 'mask' you can hold to your mouth while easily pressing on the 'trigger.' Oxygen delivered. Breath deeply and slowly. She believes it really helped just using it every now and then. I have to believe her. The ad states there are about 225 breaths in each can. I purchased this brand as it seemed the best reviewed, the most breaths per can and the shape of the top. Ease of use was important too. I would feel comfortable purchasing this brand again. American Red Cross. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. Since I wrote the review below, Boost contacted me with a full refund on the 6-pack. I changed my review from 2 to 4 stars because of the excellent customer response and time. I did not apply for the refund. I will continue to trade with Boost in the future because of this unprompted response.- The first order of 3 were all fine, but the order of 6 had 2 that were virtually flat. I made the mistake of trying to stock a backup supply, but the valves or seals are not meant for even moderate storage periods. 4 were fine, so it was not due to my handling, and the seals were all still intact. This is a good product but the delivery tech needs work.

I use when I need oxygen very good

It's a cool-looking can. Love the "American Red Cross" branding! The capacity is 12 liters, which I can only assume is the volume of oxygen in the can at standard temperature and pressure (STP) -- about 17grams. That would be exactly two breaths for the 20-year-old version of me. Spread it across 225, one-second inhalations and...well, you've added about 75mg of oxygen per breath. That's how much oxygen is available in a single cupful of sea-level air. I was looking forward to feeling the "Boost" of breathing pure oxygen. I even tried to extend one breath over 120 seconds of trigger pull. Save your money by adding an extra cup of air to your next breath.
