Awesome machine. Sonic ice all day!!
Bought this ice maker for my wife on Mother’s Day. Was a little nervous after reading others reviews. Best sonic ice ever!!!!!!! It is a little more noisy than I would like but I waited a few hours and plugged it in and in minutes I had my first ice start falling in the basket! This thing is an ice making monster as long as you keep the water level up you will see always have ice when it’s needed. It takes a little maintenance (filling it, pushing the ice down so it clears and keeps running) but it has become a big part of our family routine. It is a little noisy but once you get used to it it’s worth every soft, chewable, awesome pice of frozen goodness. Wish I had bought this for Christmas would have been enjoying the ice sooner! Great so far!

You have found the perfect ice maker!
We LOVE our ice maker! Works perfectly and makes the ice quickly. The right add in our motorhome for having ice for our drinks, keep our drinks in the ice chest cool. I would recommend for anyone looking for the perfect ice making experience. It make about a gallon zip lock bag of ice each time it runs, the ice quality is the right size and consistency. The machine is quality built and the functionality is easy to use and keep clean.

Good for personal use but not perfect.
I’ve wanted a nugget ice maker for a long time, but just kept pushing it off. Either the reviews were bad or was too expensive or too big. This was within my budget and I liked the small footprint.I’ve used it a few times and it does what it’s supposed to. It’s slower than I expected and the ice melts before the basket is filled, so on a warm day, the ice is really watery and you have to break it up after you freeze it. Also, most of the ice pieces are tiny so they melt quickly when added to a room temp drink. But even with those things, it still works and is good enough for what I need. I will probably still buy store bought ice for parties, but for my daily use, this works.

This product is a "bit of alright!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this nugget icemaker and rec'd it two days ago. Here's what I've learned so far.Pros:a) Packaged really well. Unless someone really tried to destroy it, it should come in just fine. Nice job!b) Easy to take all the pieces out, clean and put back together (hint: there aren't many parts, which is nice!)c) They say ice in 6 mins... True but not enough to use. lol My attached video shows this. However, in 20 mins there was enough for one cup. Give it an hour and it'll be about full. It'll auto turn off as the ice gets stuck coming out of the chute so it thinks it's full but it's only about 2/3 full. That's fine. All ice machines will do this. Several glasses worth in an hour.d) Very compact and pretty light.e) Pretty quiet. You can hear it but there is a lot going on inside to create the ice. It's not loud enough to be a bother.f) Delicious nugget ice! No complaints on size or taste!g) Easy to drain, dry off and put away.Cons:I can't come up with any. How long will it last? That's the real question. Only time will tell.Overall, here was my goal. I just wanted to use it for a day, bag up a bunch of ice, drain and dry and put it away until I needed more ice.The reason for this goal was this... My first nugget maker was the GE Profile 2.0. Almost $600. I ran it 24/7 (I use a lot of ice). This was a mistake. Running it that much wore it out too quickly and also dirtied it up too easily. There was no good way to clean it other that hoping the "clean" setting actually did clean it. Well, it didn't. I don't think any can. You can't take any of them apart enough to make sure there isn't black gunk growing in all the guts of the machines. This nugget maker is easier to get too. The top lifts off and you can actually see the inside water tank and the big front tank and clean them both. Much better and a third of the price. Will it make ice as fast? Heck's no. Can I make ice for a few hours and bag it up and put in the freezer? Heck's yeah.I'm going for price now. I'll make ice, clean up the machine and put away for a week.So far, this is a great buy!!

Disposable??? Maybe Not
Update on review: it’s working again but I don’t know for how long. I googled more help on this ice maker and tried more things so I’ll put it here incase anyone else runs into problems. I took the cover top off and cleaned which took cue tips, a brush for straws and an old toothbrush and a mixture of distilled white vinegar and warm water. I cleaned everything and ran the straw brush into every hole I could find used the toothbrush to scrub the covered compartment where the filter/level gage is cause I couldn’t get it open but it does have a grid on it. Then I put it in the sink and used my sprayer and kept running almost hot water into the top unit of the tank and the refill area until water was flowing through without problems, filled the water compartment back up with distilled white vinegar and water let it sit awhile then tried the cleaning mode in the manual and that worked so I let it sit overnight. I finished the next day and now it works again. I don’t know for how long but it’s working good. Someone said sometimes things get stuck or froze up so I thought try it what do you have to loose at this point cause it’s not working anyway and I’m glad I did cause it seems to have worked and I loved this ice maker last year now hopefully I’ll get to love it and have ice again this year.I bought this January 2024 and used it all summer it was good but I don’t use ice in winter I prefer room temp then, so anyway I unplugged it and did everything the manual said to do if you’re going to leave it without using it. Fast forward to June 2025 I followed directions again out of manual for using it again and now it won’t work. It sat on my counter in the same exact place as when I was using it in 2024 now it doesn’t work and I’ve tried everything even googled help and tried those things still nothing, so I spent all this money for it to work about 8 months….not happy at all.

Small but Mighty, Perfect Ice
Small but mighty! This is the best ice machine I have owned. Yes, basket is small, but makes ice fast. Added plus, it is easy to handle and clean. LOVE IT! I've had for one week, hope it lasts. Makes perfect ice and keeps form. So happy with this purchase!!
