This vanilla scented “rescue cream” arrived in a banged-up container and leaking within it’s packaging. It’s quite thick and could easily be put into a replacement jar.I’m a fan of vanilla fragrance; however, this lotion has an additional aroma that I can’t quite place. Perhaps it’s the natural scent of the Dhatelo Seed Oil of which I’m unfamiliar. It also leaves a protective silicone-like finish on the skin.It’s rather expensive but you get a decent sized jar and a little goes a long way. It’s not your typical moisturizing lotion and would be better used on especially dry areas of the body. For me, it’s not one I’d use every day.

I love how truly multi-purpose it is! I’ve used it on my face, hands, and even dry patches on my elbows, and it performs beautifully every time. The texture is rich but not greasy, so it sinks in nicely without leaving that heavy or sticky feeling. My skin always feels soft and nourished after applying it, and I haven’t experienced any irritation, which is a huge plus.The scent is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering or artificial, which makes it perfect for daily use. I also appreciate that it comes in a generous size, so I don’t feel like I have to ration it out. It’s the kind of product that just simplifies everything because I can reach for it whenever I need a boost of moisture without worrying about different creams for different areas. Definitely one of those reliable, go-to products that I’ll keep on hand.

I really wanted to like this - it's winter, I want to moisturize everything, but this is not a light scent. It's very noticeable, and neither of us in the household love the smell. Kind of vanilla crossed with patchouli. Sad :-( I thought the earthy / woody tones would be nice, but I've now googled the smell and learned that the overall scent resemblance of dhatelo seed oil to patchouli is "often noted". My partner called it a grandmother scent, which I could also see (funny, another reviewer commented on that as well).I did try some on my hands - just about unavoidable because the container bottom split along the side (mess contained bc of the extra plastic bag wrapped around it). I do feel it moisturized well - my hands feel soft the day after. But for a while after application my hands/fingers felt greasy. Probably a better nighttime cream.

This is an extra rich and luxurious moisturizing cream. For me, it's not an everyday product, but it's great for dry patches and cold, dry days. It feels great on skin and smells nice. The tub is large and will last quite a while.

This all-purpose rescue cream, which I received through Vine, is a rich and hydrating cream that works wonders on face and body. The formula absorbs well, leaving skin soft and glowing without feeling greasy. It has a spicy scent. It’s a great multi-use product for daily hydration, and the large size makes it a great value.

Both my husband and I get very itchy skin in winter due to being indoors so much. We are always looking for a moisturizer that is thick and absorbs well. This Tweak’d by Nature - All Purpose Rescue Cream is perfect for our needs. We have especially dry skin on our backs, probably from standing in the hot shower too long. So we massage this thick lotion (almost feels like cream) all over each other's back to combat the flaky, itchiness. It does have a strong scent that I like, but my husband isn't fond of it due to thinking it isn't masculine. If I use it on him at night, it works great, and then he can shower in the morning and the scent washes away. I don't think I would use this on my face because it is TOO thick, but for dry patches like elbows and cuticles, this is excellent. I bit pricey for what you get, but a little goes a long way, and it's worth it to avoid having an itchy back.

Yum! This luscious body cream makes me want to dive head first into it when I open it so delicious is the scent. Not too much, not too little but as Goldilocks put it, “just right.” The right scent at the right level, the right creaminess without any greasiness at all, the right feeling it gives my skin. In fact, I think my hands might be the softest they have been in a long, long time. In short, I am loving it.A note about the packaging. What looks like it might come completely off—like a milk bottle ring that secures the lid—actually only comes apart in only one place to allow you to easily lift the lid off. So it’s both safe and secure. (I found myself rolling my eyes at myself for not realizing this immediately.)Yes, the price is high but (1) you do get a lot, almost 16 ounces; (2) you need use only a little as it goes a long way; and (3) it works so well and so beautifully that it may have longer than the usual impact.Very highly recommended!
