Under the description part where it says "A perfect balance of flavors" It lists vinegar, salt, and sugar. However, there is no sugar in this product. instead, the sweetening agent is aspartame. This is a product I try to avoid since it has been linked to various ailments. Also, it is non-returnable so now I'll have to give it away or trash it. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Don’t listen to the negative reviews here! I am a huge Sushi/Asian/ginger food lover! I normally purchase similar pickled ginger at Publix/grocery store. But the grocery store was out and most of the pickled ginger is colored pink. I got the 2-pack of the white colored ginger (without the pink dye added). Not only does it taste very good, tangy & overall natural, it’s better than the one I normally purchase at Publix. Also with this 12 ounce ginger size, I get 3 times the size/ounces for the same price I would pay for much less quantity at the grocery store!! Highly recommend this product, especially the white ginger version and the 2-pack for the price!
