I bought these as I wanted to have different coffees other than the costa ones. After a little trial and error, I managed to make a nice cup of coffee. I got the 220ml lid option and I found that this is enough to fill a standard mug with enough room for milk.I will say that you really need to get the option with the tamper too. You need to put more coffee in than you think, and really tamp it down otherwise the grinds separate and you get a very weak coffee with no crema. Just don't go over the max line.Cleaning is pretty easy with the brush provided and you can take the filter out of the silicone lid.Overall I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

I have a few of these pods with a different lids for varying strength/length of coffee. The 220ml lid is the only one which is always rejected by my Tassimo machine. I learnt, through messy experience, not to overfill, as the coffee swells and will burst in the machine.The tamper does help to get a bit of crema, although not as much as the manufacturer disposable pods.

I have found the big lidl store has a good range of coffees match made in heaven. After emptying the grinds out and flushing with water make sure that the top is fully sealed before using in Tassimo or there is coffee all over,

Like mixing my own coffee blends and these work well in my machine.

I'd seen these reuseable Tassimo pod things before but until now I hadn't tried them. The set arrived neatly in two little boutique style brown cardboard boxes. Basically you'll store them and these accesories in these same boxes (I will anyway). So you get one base unit and two lids, one 200ml and one 220ml. Coffee scoop/spoon, and a metal pummel thing which is to flatten or level the coffee you put inside the pod. I used the 200ml lid to test because that's about the volume of coffee I have at home. I used some Starbucks columbian ground coffee. Once the coffee is in (don't fill passed the line) easily press the lid on and use the pod as you would normally. So the coffee was nice and black, but no froth. I presume that's a drawback, but coffee tasted good. Entirely dependant on what coffee you use obviously.If you have a brand of coffee you like but isn't available via tassimo then this gadget is a no brainer.
