20 x ARC 2.5mm WELDING ELECTRODE RODS FOR MILD STEEL GENERAL PURPOSE TYPE E6013

Minimal current gives great flow for good welds even in my amateur (home welder) hands

Found it a bit difficult to get a strike on these but once struck they tend to flow quite nice and you can get quite a decent weld out of them with a nice flux peel off the weld. Hardly needed to chip or wire brush at all.Had a bit of difficulty with a couple of them where I think there was inconsistency or contamination in the flux which effected the weld flow (a chunk of the flux broke off the rod) and were difficult to strike again until I trimmed the rod back to the flux again.Not too bad for the money.

You get exactly what you paid for and they work perfectly, the welds come out very nice and would definitely buy again, I’m planning to buy more from here soon.

I bought myself a small welder and needed some rods.These were perfect for the job.

It’s a welding rod flux covered, it does what it’s made for. Not used yet —. BUT hey a rods a rod after all is said & done. I mostly wanted some to practice with after “unearthing” an old but unused (still in box) arc welder, I know it sounds odd but I forgot that I had it tucked away in the loft, Lord knows how I got it up there as it weighs 17.5 kilos. Don’t ask how I got it back down that’s another story. 🤬🤯
