Skytec SPL-300 2-Channel Power Amplifier – Stereo Class D Amplifier 300W for Home Audio, HiFi Speaker Systems, Rack Mount PA & DJ Setups with RCA Input

The Amp arrived ahead of schedule and would have been perfect for our use. We are a charity that runs the Santa Sleigh every year. This year we were concerned that our Amplifier had gone wrong, so we found the sky tech amp, which would have been plenty of power for our two speakers to belt out the Christmas tunes as Santa makes his rounds giving sweets, and good cheer to the young (and not so young).. however in the end it wasn’t our original amplifier that had gone wrong but interference from a power source.. so although we are returning this Skytec SPL-300, it gets 5 stars and hope we can get a refund.. it all arrived in good time and was well packaged. Very good amplifier and very reasonably priced too.

This equipment was purchased as a replacement for my home music system - it works well and has good tonal quality

I bought 3 of these to manage 2 zones and their sub woofers in a community hall. They are 300w max not RMS but I was looking for something that would be loud enough for a party without bringing the EHO down for noise pollution in a quiet rural setting. Also by using zones we could have an even level throughout the hall rather than one big noise by the stage. Using a ibiza sound 7 Input 4 Channel Mixer with USB and an E-SDS 1 In 8 Out RCA AV Audio Video Splitter Amplifier for Cable Box DVD DVR Analog TV we have the flexibility to add additional zones incorporating legacy amps. Don't expect fireworks and unlimited walls of noise, but they do give a good clear and crisp sound for very little money. We regularly have small bands who have slaved the system from their PA. They have been, without exception, complimentary about the sound. Six months in and with weekly use they are proving their worth. I should add that Electromarket, who fulfilled, rang me up before shipping and checked what I was going to use the amps for. Their rep was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and was able to confirm that the specs for speakers and my expectations would be met.

nice, cheap and cheerful amp. disappointed that there were no rear sockets for the speaker wires, but I did see that before I bought it.All in all a nice amp, clean sound, I only use it for my studio so I don't know how it handles when you need to pump up the volume.
