Olivia Europeana Olive Tree - Small but Mature with Thick stem - Ideal Small Gift

A very sturdy and healthy little tree - even survived being stuck in a Royal Mail depot overnight but wasn’t too bashed around.It’s already putting out new growth and seems very happy.I’d certainly (and probably will) buy from this supplier again!

This arrived the other day, it was well wrapped & delivered by the post office. It was a little rattly when I took it in, upon opening there was a little but not much soil out of the pot, it was very dry & about half the leaves had fallen off. I left it in the conservatory, we are experiencing some decent temps this week, it was well watered after unpacking & seems happy enough in the conservatory though I am going to put it out, possibly in the greenhouse. It also has lots of tiny little buds on it, which I am quite excited about though I hate olives, this is a gift for my partner & he loves olives like some of us love chocolate so he will be pleased when he gets home. It is approximately 20cm high from above the pot & even though it is a miniature (Bonsai), it is plenty big for us, at just under £20 you can't go wrong, it is advertised now as £18.99 but am pretty sure I paid £16.99

Plant was well packed, good size as advertised and healthy.

Arrived quickly and reasonably well packaged but nothing like the picture on Amazon! The whole thing (including the pot) is only 26cm tall. There is a thick healthy looking stem and a small amount of greenery but absolutely nothing like the picture and no fruit to be seen. The pot is not like the one on the picture either, it's just a plain, cheap, brown plastic pot. It's a nice but very small plant. A bit embarrassing really as it's a present. I paid £9.99 delivery to get it within 3 days but it's not worth it. In hindsight I have seem much bigger plants for a similar amount (when you include the £9.99 postage) at my local garden centre since buying this.

Olive plant even had olives on it! I'm keeping it watered until the heat wave is over. It will then be planted in a sheltered spot on the allotment near my fig tree. Should be interesting to see what happens over time. Plant arrived spreedily. well boxed and protected although external cellotape was becoming loose - through heat presumably.
