My wife's favorite
My wife has a bad back and neck from being very large (she's 6'8") and from spending her younger years working manual labor, as well as as a bouncer and pro wrestler. Her spine has taken a lot of damage. She also likes to sleep in weird positions. This combines to mean that she wants a pillow she can wad up, fold over, tuck into her arm or shoulder, etc, and that means a flat pillow. This one is the best we've ever gotten for her.The size is great even for someone super sized like her, it's big enough for her to scrunkle up as much as she wants without running out of space to put her head. It looks neat with the quilting, though the look of a pillow has never been very important to me since any reasonable person puts a case over them whenever they're in use anyway. That said, my wife gets a lot of nosebleeds and you couldn't tell from looking at her naked pillow, it hasn't stained at all. The smooth texture means fluids wipe right off or are easily flushed out. I hate touching the texture myself because I have autism problems with too smooth fabrics but it doesn't bother anyone else. The quilting also means that no matter how much you mistreat it, it retains its shape. We've had it for a few years now and I can confidently say I don't think it will ever look anything other than brand new. Expensive down pillows looked like sad little rags in half the time, and don't even get me started on the lumpy cotton stuffed ones. This is as sturdy and tough as it is flat, and it is VERY flat. Just enough padding to counter as a pillow, it's firm enough to still provide support to a small extent, and more so if you fold it over and want a firmer support than most softer fluffier pillows. Not very thick at all but it's a little workhorse. It hasn't even shown a hint of sweat stains, and my wife is a furnace at night and gets very damp in the summer. Our mattress under the high quality rubber backed mattress pad shows more discoloration than this pillow.I've never bothered with trying to do anything to it other than put a case on it, wipe it clean occasionally, and of course have my wife sleep on it. Therefore, I can't speak to the zipper quality, since I've never touched the zipper (still not sure it actually has one). I also can't say how adjustable it is since I've never in my life tried to "adjust" a pillow - at the point you're buying extra stuffing for your pillow, or pulling out out, why are you not just making your own pillow? It would take minutes on a sewing machine, I don't understand why you'd pay to buy a professionally made pillow and then change the amount of stuffing. So I can't help you there, even if Amazon's review prompts really want me to talk about it.Basically this week s a great pillow if you like them flat, flexible, and not too hard while still having a good amount of support. It stands up to all kinds of abuse and keeps its shape and color seemingly indefinitely. Great value.

Good for whiplash victims!
I’ve had chronic pain for nearly four decades. One side effect is that all my muscles are so tense and stressed that I have permanent whiplash from my muscles pulling my bones out of alignment. The result is that I cannot use a regular pillow. Yet, it’s hard to find a thin and supportive one. I usually ended up just using old and flat pillows, but they lack support and they’re, well, old!I’m wasn’t sure what I would be getting with this purchase and I wasn’t happy with it that first night. It doesn’t feel like a regular pillow, maybe more like a cushion with squared off edges. That concerned me, because I sometimes sleep on my stomach and we all hug our pillows then. So it feels a bit different, but if you have a similar issue, I can assure you it’s worth a try. It’s also soft and thin enough that I can comfortably hug it while sleeping on my tummy. The stuffing material is the kind that can separate, which is why it has rows of stitching to hold the stuffing in place. So far it’s all holding its shape, but I won’t be washing it. When it needs a good cleaning, I’m just buying another one. If it ever starts to separate, I also know I can easily to kneed the stuffing back to where it should be.A comfortable pillow is really important to me! So much that when I travel I always bring my own. If you have similar issues, this pillow might work for you, as well.

Good, flat pillow
If you are looking for a flat pillow, look no further. I bought this for my toddler to use and didn't want anything too elevated as he is a toddler and likes to sleep on his belly. He loves his pillow! I do have to rotate it often because after a few nights of laying on it, it will lose its luster, but that is expected with an already flat, low-filled pillow. I would buy again!

The best pillow for stomach sleepers
You learn the hard way that pillows are one of those things you definitely need to get right. A couple years ago I had bought these giant fluffy pillows thinking they’d be the best thing to sleep on because big and fluffy=amazing, right? Not if you’re a stomach sleeper. I started getting these horrible tension headaches and neck pain and I felt like I was really ill and I started looking into different things that it could be. I decided to try a flat pillow to start and decided on this one. Within the week my headaches ceased completely and I felt great again.I’ve been using these pillows for over two years now and I can firmly say that if I could no longer buy these I would genuinely be sad. They’re definitely pretty sturdy, including the stitching in the middle! I was really worried the first time I washed it that they’d just pop out and I’ve only had it done to 1/5 total pillows I’ve gotten over the years (that’s four regular pillows on the bed and the extra one I replaced). This only happens because it was the first pillow I had bought two years ago and had washed multiple times and tumble dried multiple times and moved twice with.I definitely recommend the pillow, they’re worth the price to not have horrible headaches and neck pain alone!

Too soft
It's too soft so it's even thinner than it looks when you put your head on it, providing hardly any thickness at all.
