School SAT approved
Good quality as expected and we were told this is an SAT approved model. Kids can use them in the class or at the tests.

Different colors get you slightly different calculators
Bought two of these for my two kids based on their favorite colors, and interestingly got two slightly different types of calculators. The purple one (Infinitely Iris) is the Python-enabled version of the calculator. Which to be fair doesn't really matter for the middle and high school math they're doing, but it's odd it differs based on color since other reviews have mentioned this too. The description doesn't mention the Python version at all so I was fine getting the non-Python version for the blue one and they're identical in all other ways. But just something to be aware of when choosing a color.Other than that, it's basically the same TI graphing calculator that has been used in math classes since the dawn of time and that are still way overpriced for the ancient electronics inside but since TI has a monopoly on school calculators what else are you going to buy. At least in the 25 years since I got my TI-86 they now come with a higher resolution color screen which is nice and they are also much slimmer now. The biggest negative is TI really needs to do an update to stop using that ancient micro-B USB cable to charge and use a USB-C connector (or even micro-B). But they include the mini-B cable so it is what it is.Also had to jailbreak it to put Tetris and other games on there since that's no longer supported out of the box, but that's a *really* simple process extensively documented online with some Google searching. Playing Tetris on my graphing calculator after math tests is a core childhood memory so glad to see it can still be a thing for this new generation. In summary, if your kid needs a graphing calculator for school, this is the latest and greatest version you need to buy them in 2023.

It does exactly what is needed
Bought for my wife that decided to go back to school for a computer engineering degree. She has to take calculus and other advanced math. This model was one the professor recommended for while she is in school. Has worked very well for her

For the Mathematically Challenged
Let me start by saying I am terrible at math - I practically cried when I took Trigonometry and Pre-Calc was mind-numbing. I cannot do math above the level of calculating sales tax in my head and all of the basics. So when my pre-bacc program required a math class, I thought I was going to give up. But then I found this calculator, and it saved me from failing a class that I'm sure wasn't really that hard (I just cannot do math, maybe it's a dyscalculia thing) and landing me a solid B+ in one of my major core courses. I love this calculator and it's easy to learn/use interface, and the fact it was available in my favorite color. 10/10
