Very useful product.
Once filled and properly capped off, these pillows stay cushioned for a very long time (months so far). They worked great at reducing the pressure on our mom's tailbone area - thus reducing completely the appearance of bedsores. The covers are great for washing off any spills. Have purchased two of them (one for the transfer chair and one for the wheelchair).

works great
A few reviews complained about product deflating overnight. Although the air valve works properly, I can see how it could accidentally open. For the price of this unit, the air valve is a poor design. That said, close the air valve firmly, orient it to back of chair and it should be OK.The multiple "bulb" seat share a single air chamber. This means when you lean to one side, the air is forced tot he other side....pushing up. Care is needed not to be pushed over.Keeping these concerns in mind, I definitely, without a doubt, know this product will help/prevent heal pressure/bed wounds.

Works Great
Inexpensive and works! I am sitting most days on a scooter or chair due to ALS. My quality of life has improved greatly since I started using this pad.

Worked perfectly for compression sores
Dad is 91, living in assisted living apartment and a bit sedentary.(understatement) The PA called to let me know he had 2 small but severe (?) compressions sores on his bottom. She recommended a ROHO cushion, which I had never heard of. I got online and started researching products, reviews and prices and chose this one, had it delivered in a few days. One of the nurses there set it up for him and he started using it that day.He also was provided medicated bandages in the mean time, but the sores were gone in less than a week' That was about a month ago and they have not come back. I can NOT say that it was the cushion but I'm positive it helped the healing AND prevented them from coming back.

A costly disappointment
The doctor recommended the RoHo for my 100-year-old grandfather who is skeletal and has lost the padding on his backside. He is especially susceptible to the skin breaking down. I bought one for $125, inflated it and he quickly felt some relief from the pressure. It seemed miraculous. Despite carefully following the inflation directions, it would not stay inflated. I thought the fault was mine and bought a second RoHo for $125. This time i had my grandfather fill it and close the valve because his hand strength is like a bench vise. It was flat within hours. While the design is clever and it works ever so briefly, it is not a good buy and would NOT recommend it to others. Buyer beware.

Seems pretty good so far
I bought this to replace my Ki Axiom G cushion that came on my chair which hasn't given me any issues but I've heard a lot of good things about this one, and just feeling the two it almost seems the old cushion is more I guess... robust? BUT once you sit on the two and do a hand test per the owners manual the ROHO cushion is much more forgiving and doesn't have as much pressure to slide your hand under your bum, I think this is definitely going to be worth the money, only complaint is my chair is an 18x18 and the cushion is supposed to be as well but the seat sling sticks out about half an inch and I feel like it could rub against the back of my legs if I'm not careful and cause issues, it might just require some adjustment on my part though so still giving it 5 stars : )
