Needed a 360 degree laser to fit a picture rail, only had a Dewalt small angle laser, so didn’t want to spend too much money. Well this unit surpassed my expectations, over a 20m distance, the dewalt was -4mm out where this unit was bob on the line. The accessories are well thought out, the one that I found most useful was the remote control fob. You can set up the laser and switch it on and off without touching (or moving) the laser, saving the life of the battery. Battery life is good ~8hrs per battery in constant use. Overall a really good quality, accurate and value for money laser, I pick this one up before the Dewalt!

It's great value for the amount of stuff with it. I had a cheaper one before this one and it didn't work, I spent a little more to get this a d you can tell the quality difference straight away as this is far better. It's so easy to use, I have a tripod that it's on. Almost every DIY job I find a reason to use it.

This device has enabled me to tackle the correction of an uneven floor and comes highly recommended. The unit is sturdy and gives a clear 360 degree laser line. Jobs that seemed impossible are now within grasp.

I had a very basic laser a few years ago, but it was just for sticking guiding lines on walls and the like. This is the real deal, with a proper self levelling function, some seriously decent lasers and the ability to shine double horizontal, plus vertical lines at the same time.It has a decent mount included, which has pretty strong magnets which will hold it in place on a suitable metal surface or it can be hung on a wall like a painting, clamped on a pipe, or rested on a surface. The mount includes standard screw threads, meaning the laser can also be used in conjunction with a tripod. And there's an odd little metal plate included that can be used as a riser on horizontal surfaces too.There are two lithium batteries with a claimed run time is 8 hours each, and there's also a USB lead and mains adaptor provided so it could be run indefinitely if there's access to mains power. A battery charger is included.There's a top mounted power button to turn it on and off, plus buttons to switch the horizontal and vertical lasers. The lower slider also turns it on if set to self levelling, which works provided the mount is within 4 degrees of horizontal and sounds an alarm if it goes out of range. I find this essential for shelving when getting a horizontal mount on an uneven floor is otherwise almost impossible.The lasers are exceptionally bright and reach across any size of room I'm ever likely to use it in. Even in really light conditions they are clear and bright on the higher power setting, and still very acceptable on lower power.Where this device really comes into it's own is fitting long run shelving, where trying to get the mount points level can be a real bind, especially if the floor is uneven, or for running a row of pictures along a wall, for example.This is not a particularly cheap addition to the toolkit, but for a keen DIYer or professional builder/decorator it could pay for itself quickly in saved time.One very minor gripe, when mine arrived it had no user manual included.

My husband who uses a hugely expensive laser scanning system in his job, says this is a very good bit of kit. It is robust, well made and comes with everything you need to ensure levels are accurate when undertaking a variety of home / DIY tasks.He has been using it to put some wall lights on which are level and he said it saved so much time. He is going to use it next for laying a floor and ensure it is level.It isn't a big piece of kit, but it does a great job and because it is quick to set up, it isn't a hassle to get it out and use it, even if it is just to put a couple of pictures up.He is chuffed with it, so it must be pretty good.

This is a great laser, however there are a couple of issues. The build quality is superb and the case is ok providing adequate protection to the unit during transport or just storage.The laser delivers clean bright lines in the horizontal planes, however my only criticism is the vertical lines, these weren't as bright and didn't provide a consistent width to the line especially over a two metre vertical height. The laser comes with a spare battery and a great little scissor lift for aligning skirting and a remote control, really useful when the laser is mounted on a tripod.All in all this is a good laser level that could be perfect with just a few improvements.
