Actually really works, just follow directions
Okay so I have never written a review before but I want to leave my opinion on this; i've tried a bunch of different dove deodorants, i've tried the hello brand. i've tried antiperspirant ones, i have tried ones with no aluminum, etc... i have always struggled with my armpits and ONLY my armpits being sweaty. as a woman in her 20's, you can imagine how embarrassing it is. I was scared to wear my nice tops and let alone outside. Even if I sit in my room doing nothing, my armpits sweat. If I go outside? No matter how little or a lot I put, I would sweat and get stains on my shirts. After a ton of looking around I had this one wishlisted for awhile but never bought it until about two weeks ago... I waited a bit to give opinions as well. But today sealed the deal for me. I went outside for multiple hours through rainy weather that then turned hot and while I sweat elsewhere; i did not sweat a single time in my armpits. I wasn't afraid to put on a nicer shirt today, I even went to the fitting room and freely tried on shirts without being worried or embarrassed my armpits would ruin them. This really works! JUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!! A lot of the bad reviews are from people who put this immediately after a shower or shaving. I followed the directions and did not experience any harsh burning, itching, or bruising. At some point my armpit did burn slightly- I won't lie. That is because I did three swipes. It wasn't a painful burn and went away after about a day. This week I went with two swipes and I think it depends on your needs and how much you sweat- but two was perfect for me. No irritation, no burns, no darkening, and I was able to go out and be sweat free.My last thing I'll say is that I see other reviews that say they put other deodorant on top as this one doesn't smell like anything. I would recommend that too. The first week I was too afraid to mix and match. The first few days I didn't sweat and had no smell- fine by me. But by the end of the week it was beginning to smell and sweat again. This week, after it was dry, I decided on two swipes of the usual dove one I was using and it's worked for me. Certain dri keeps me from sweating, dove has kept me smelling nice. For the price, I can't complain. Again, I've tried $10+ deodorants, I've tried cheap ones, brand name, random drug store ones... I will never go back after using this one. If you are like me and scared to wear your nicer clothes and excessively sweat, try this out. Just again, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. This is NOT meant to be put on right after a shower like other ones. This can be your best friend if you follow instructions and use it lightly once a week. I'm looking forward to see how it holds up for me during the summer but so far, it's worked wonders and my confidence is going up being able to wear all the nice blouses and shirts I've been holding onto for this day where I found a deodorant that contained my sweat!

If you are an underarm sweater, BUY THIS!
I’ll admit: I was skeptical.I have always been a sweater. Now in my late 20s, I noticed that my armpits have gotten extremely sweaty. I would put on a shirt in the morning and have to change it within 2 hours because of armpit sweat showing. My armpits sweat no matter what I’m doing- sitting in the cool AC, running, getting out of the shower, they almost always are damp. I was just trying to deal with it so I bought underarm pads that soak up sweat, which still didn’t do enough. Tried some other topical stuff that also didn’t work.I decided enough was enough. I wanted to try one more thing before going to the dermatologist and getting on sweating medication. I scoured the internet and landed on Certain Dri. I figured for the cheap price I would give it a shot. I applied it last night on my completely patted dry armpits. I did probably 3 long strokes on each armpit, making sure to get my entire armpit. It itched me for a little bit, but nothing that caused me to stay up or not be able to sleep. It is now the end of the following day and my armpits have been bone dry all day. I am in shock. I’ve been doing housework and moving, so they should be sweating. Usually I would’ve changed shirts at least twice. But no, my armpits have been completely dry and I have been checking all day- no moisture. So basically, I’m hooked on this stuff. I had instant results and I’m going to keep using this forever!Edit one week later: This stuff is amazing! The first few nights I had a tingle sensation about 15 minutes after applying. Now, that’s completely gone. It keeps my armpits sweat free all day. The only time I had some sweat was when I was out mowing in the 90 degree sun, and even then the sweat was minimal compared to what it used to be. I’m very happy I found this stuff.

It definitely works to an extent
I struggle with sweating a lot in my armpits because of a new medication. My armpits get soaking wet and it’s embarrassing in public. I’ve been using this deodorant for a while, and here’s what I’ve gathered:It works somewhat well. I use it kinda generously and reapply every night/every other night.Following the instructions, I applied when my armpits were dry or pretty much completely dry. I’ve never felt any kind of pain or discomfort, it’s been completely fine actually. I was really worried about that, but maybe it’s because I never shave my armpits ? The only downside is the hair can make the application with the roller ball feel weird sometimes.. but it’s not painful, it just feels weird for a few seconds while you roll it.It definitely has cut down on the amount of sweat coming out of my armpits. I’m no longer completely drenched, just sometimes slightly damp. And honestly, I consider that a huge improvement. Is it worth it?: if you struggle with extreme sweating in the armpits, then yes, it’s definitely worth it. It may not completely eliminate your sweat, but it will definitely cut down on it noticeably.

No more dripping sweat
As someone with hyperhydrosis, I was going to a 4 day camping festival and I could lift a finger and sweat so I was looking for something that would minimize the amount of clothes I would ruin, or the amount of looks I got from dripping buckets of sweat. I used this roll on on my underarms, face and chest and saw a drastic decrease in how much I was sweating even out in the 90 degree weather. I will say I don't think it lasted as long as it claims, but a simple reapplication and everything was back to good.
