I have 2 Android devices :1> Samsung A14SM Phone which works brilliantly2> Acer ACTAB10KB24 Table (from Currys)If the OTG cable is connected to the Samsung Phone, I can transfer files using the Phone to the TabletIf the OTG cable is connected to the Acer Tablet the USB Connection does not existits not an issue with the cable it's an issue with the Tablet which I bought last week.

I don't know what I expected (probably for something to be catastrophically wrong) but this product works perfectly for me. I've only been using it for a day or two but it's surpassed expectations.I have an M1 MacBook Air and I needed to be able to pipe in power as well a 4 port USB-A dongle into 1 thunderbolt port (other being used for a display connection) and this simply just works. It delivers all the same power as with the charger plugged straight in and I haven't experienced any issues with USB dropouts, as experienced with other dongles (I have a keyboard bluetooth receiver, external SSD, audio interface and MIDI keyboard all connected simultaneously).Definitely recommend if you're sure this is what you need!

This thing worked for a while and then became very slow before it starting becoing live. It would shock me touch it! Avoid!!!

I wanted to connect a power-bank and a USB data key to a tablet.As far as the description went this would have been possible..... sadly it simply didn't work in that configuration.

I like that I was able to access my usb3 portable HDD whilst charging my phone on the plane. Perfect, let's see how long it lasts.

I use this to connect peripheral USB storage devices to my iPad power & data port. Apple's adaptor doesn't include a power input, so attaching hard drives in particular can drain charge. This one keeps the iPad charged while the peripheral is connected. Note that it provides power to the iPad, NOT to the attached peripheral).Note that after connection it may take a few seconds before the peripheral device name shows in "Files".
