These work great as a liner under thicker braces. Additionally they can be used as a stand alone product to remind you to take care of your thumbs, minimizing pain.

It was not clear to me that this item was already included in the hand splint which I ordered. For the extra money, I got a duplicate liner, and a second one that was made for larger hands. I have small hands, so the second liner was not useful for me. I returned this for a refund.

I bought this brace as an alternative to the braces with plastic inserts that I had been wearing. This brace is quite comfortable, but doesn't really restrain my thumb (which is the point of the brace for me, since reduced movement results in reduced pain). I doubled the brace up (since I received two) and that works somewhat better. The price (for two!) is fantastic. That being the case, I'd recommend these for occasional use but not as a replacement for the braces with plastic inserts.

This support brace has the potential to replace taping! It gives nice compression to the CMC joint when you don't yet need to wear a splint or don't need to wear one full time. However, it just doesn't stand up to daily use. I have had two of these for a month, alternate wearing them, and hand wash regularly. They have become dirtied very quickly and today the thumb seam pulled apart.. So $10 a month for a dirty looking brace is too much. Ever think of making one in black?

Fits great

If this thing covered the entire area of the brace it would be the best product ever. Sadly it doesn’t. It needs to be winder around the wrist palm, and go up the bend in between the thumb and palm. If it did that, this would a 10 out of 10 product.I do use it alone as it provide minimal benefit and minimal is better than none but have to put several on to get real benefits.
