very informative and i love how it gives you a page to practice writing the kanji, hiragana, and katakana yourself. The exercises helped me get an understanding of the language.

This book is an excellent addition to anyone trying to learn Japanese. As with any language, you need to have several sources of information. The book helps with the repetition needed to learn the three types of characters used in writing Japanese.

This is great for beginners! I got this to learn hiragana and katakana and I was pleased to see it also gave words in hiragana and katakana to practice! and it has kanji near the end as well and teaches the correct stroke manners.

I love this book. It helped put the finishing touches on not just learning but remembering the basics. The way characters are written is very important in remembering small details that can help bridge learning gaps.

Have a few months learning Japanese and I haven’t found anything better for character practice, this workbook is long with 300 pages, great examples, practice and of course the order of the strokes which is fundamental. One more thing, the scope is N5 vocabulary and kanji characters! I’m so happy and definitely recommend, don’t hesitate!

The work book helps you understand the correct stroke order for each type of Japanese character with lots of practice boxes. It then has you practice using each new character to form simple words to enhance your working vocabulary. There are many practice exercises to reinforce learning. In the Kanji section it adds the use of the characters in practical sentences. The last section of the book extensively covers numbers, counting, months and years. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase of this book.
