Such a happy little turtle. The flowers are bright and colorful and the turtle's expression is so happy. The resin seems sturdy. There are no batteries required. A charge time of at least 6 hours per day is required and the ON switch must be "on" in order for the turtle to charge. Mine worked right out of the box and the lights were quite bright for solar.Two things I wish were different. 1) The flower design is only on the front of the turtle. The back is smooth with no decoration and that is where the solar panel resides. 2) I wish the placement of the lights throughout the flowers was more random.I do love this little guy over all and he brightens my patio. A great buy in my opinion.

Bought this for Nanny, she loves everything turtle. I wanted to wait on the review because in years past all the solar things I bought seem to stop working after a few months. Its been 4 months, and the light shines as bright as it did on the day we gave it as a gift. Cute turtle and colorful design will not disappoint.

Very nice and well made. The only issue being that it’s very floppy and we worry if outside the slightest wind will knock it over and break it. We’ll have to keep it inside. Lights nicely too.Update: even inside it wobbles so much it still eventually broke on a fall off a table and had to be disposed of. If you can find some way to secure it I still recommend it, but it’s sad to lose.

The solar powered turtle sculpture is an outstanding mothers day gift. It looks so realistic and the solar powered aspect gives it a modern twist. Mom can enjoy it every day in her garden. It's not like those common mothers day gifts. It's something special that will make her think of me every time she sees it.

This turtle is so cute. I put mine in a flower pot. I love it. It’s not as big as picture seems but I still like it.

This is a cute little thing but it’s high maintenance. The solar panel is on the back of the turtle and it must be in Direct sunlight for hours to gather a charge. It’s on my porch so I have to turn the back side out towards the sun during the day so it will light up at night. The lights are not terribly bright either. I like it but don’t love it. I was planning to order one for my daughter but decided not to. But lastly, it is cute!

These are beautiful and well made. Lights up well and gives the garden an interesting look.
