I never knew something like this existed. Beats trying to gauge my own lines and distances

NOTE: I DO NOT USE FOR DRAWING. I've been using one of these rulers since 1993 and had no clue what it was actually used for until about 10 years ago when I tried to buy a new one. I find it an essential tool if you are entering data from a printout. This isn't something I use that often any more, but have bought multiple over the years as I can't live without it - at home or at work! The ones I've had in the past always connected the ruler part with two screws. Well, one of those screws eventually busted the ruler and why I ended up buying this one. I do really like it is one piece and no screws. You were constantly having to tighten them or the ruler part would fall off.As indicated in my first sentence, I don't use this for drawing or architecture, so I have no idea if it is good for that industry. I love it for know what line I am on for data entry from a printout.I do think it is overpriced, though.

I saw this video on youtube while watching Calligraphy Masters. It is a must have for all people who do calligraphy. The ruler allows me to make my guidelines quickly. The roller keep track of the distance between lines. My only complaint is the the roller moves quite easily and I wish that there was no break between inch 5 and 1 (there is an unmarked gap).

Good tool good price

I wish I had known about this kind of ruler much earlier in my life. It is easy to use. It glides smoothly over the paper with easy to use guidelines and measurement tools. Nice, sturdy tool. Thank you for a great product!

the rolling ruler will not stay in place. keeps falling out when you pick up the device. Too many functions being built in to a single tool. Marking holes are too deep/small to use unless you sharpen your writing device to a thin point which breaks as soon as you move it. A channel should be manufactured over the holes to make them less deep. The faults of this device accumulate quickly but for the price it can be made a usable tool with some minor modification. Not bad for the money, just did not meet expectations out of the "box".

I am learning perspective drawing and this ruler is so helpful. I love how smooth it is, rolling across my paper. I wish I had bought a smaller size too, since I often work on postcard or card size paper. I was really worried about the roller, but they must have improved it because it is like silk!

Roller keeps falling out. Since it was out, decided to compare the measurements.. The roller is off on the measurements. The clear part is accurate for the basic measurements. Can't really tell about the rest because without the roller, really hard to use.... Plastic is really light and feels very cheap. The roller itself appears to be basically PCV pipe with caps on it. The rollers ink looks like it's already wanting to come off. (I got this thing yesterday btw...)I really wouldn't have minded the other stuff - if the roller would've stayed in. I really wanted this too :(The only 'good' thing I can honestly say is that the company was quick with their replies over all. Like I said, got it yesterday, and they've already sent a refund.
