Review
It’s just how it is on the display. Comes neatly boxed with a nice controller. Works perfectly fine too.

A great little refurbished console well worth the purchase.
I took a long time to finally buy the latest gen console this time around. I’ve owned the Xbox 360 and the original Xbox One and still play both regularly. I was leaning towards a Series X for the longest time, but then decided I didn’t need all the bells a d whistles that console has over this one.I chose the refurbished model to purchase the console at around its original price point before the price hike occurred earlier this year. Mine was $309 plus tax & free shipping. The console looks and works like new. The controller was nice and minty, and it came with an HDMI and power cable. No manual, but I’ve been gaming since the Atari 2600 days, so setup is easy to me. This one I set up through the Xbox app in less than a minute.I really like the series S and if you’re like me and don’t need 4K output, another blu-ray drive, and the other fairly minor comparison specs, you’ll probably have a lot of fun with it as well. I hooked up an external drive I had lying around and while you can’t play X/S games from it (my only complaint, but it’s easy to buy an expansion unit to solve the problem, I can still store and load up tons of my Xbox One and 360 games.

Got my package on time, works great

Came with a broken, gross controller
Looks like the controller was thrown around the room a few times and the left stick doesn’t work.

Marked improvement over the previous gen
Pretty good. I was skeptical at first, what with Microsoft's reputation. It was when I didn't hear anything from the fan that I grew worried, but the fact that heat was coming from the vent just showed the fan was that much quieter than the One S, which was already pretty quiet all things considered. The console is far smaller than one would expect. Worryingly small, with the One S being substantially bulkier. My only gripe with the aesthetics is that the vent is a different color to the console, which is a little odd, but probably serves a purpose. The controller has far more pronounced grippy texturing on the grips and a rougher feel to the rest of the plastic, which took some getting used to. Controller build quality is pretty good, and it has a dedicated screenshot button, which is handy for the rare moment I DO take screenshots. The hardware itself runs as smooth as butter. Despite being less powerful than the Series X the console clearly still packs a punch and despite being far smaller than the previous gen, still runs games far better. Now to see if the console will survive several years of constant use like my old one. Here's hoping.
