Sturdy, just the right size for my plastic flatware that is typically packaged in a cellophane wrapper. I purchased three for the for each of the following: knives, forks and spoons!

We have been purchasing and using Lock'n Lock brand leakproof containers for about 15 years. They are well worth the price. If you ever go camping these are a must have because if you're ice in your cooler melts it does not go into your food because these have a locking seal!!! There are copycat companies out there do not be fooled because there's are not leak proof and they are junk. Make sure it is this registered brand because we have never been disappointed in it. If you freeze in them just make sure you don't drop the ice cold frozen container on a hard floor because it will crack. Otherwise these are a must have.

I love LockNLock containers. Best on the market. I have to use a special body dusting powder to prevent skin infections. Trued quite a few containers but all just not great containing the powder when moving or tipping. WaaLaa use a LnL container.Perfect

I was trying to silica gel dry some flowers and I needed an airtight container that was large enough for my flower blooms. I bought 3 of these Lock & Lock Easy Store Airtight containers. These worked like a charm! My dried flowers came out beautiful and they dried in record time since the container was air tight. Since it worked so well on the flowers I decided to use the other 2 for food storage. I now only have to food prep once a week instead of twice because these air tight containers work to keep air out and prevent oxidation. I also like the way they stack and are easy to store. Clean up is easy too since they are dishwasher safe. This is a good value for the quality and I recommend giving them a try!

We have used these type of containers or use lunch salad. It is the perfect size, airtight, and the lids don’t work as fast as other brands. One thing that is very important to not wash the lids in the dishwasher. This will preserve the seal.

I love lock and lock products. This one is the perfect size for a package of sliced cheese!

I love the Lock&Lock brand. I've been using them for quite a long time. My oldest pieces are more than 10 years old and are still going strong. I use them constantly. I know some folks hate leftovers, but I don't. If I bought it or made it in the first place, it was because I like eating it, and if I liked it today, I'll like it tomorrow too! The Lock&Locks keep everything I put into them fresh and ready to be rewarmed.I don't buy sets. Instead, I prefer to just buy the particular pieces that I need (preferably on sale--this one was 9 bucks). I can usually find a space-efficient way to store them by putting the smaller ones into the larger ones. I didn't have a Lock&Lock of this size, but I thought the size would be perfect for storing half a London broil or a couple of chicken pieces. The 54 ounce, 1.7 qt size (HPL824) is perfect.It has the familiar 4 flaps, one on each quadrant of the lid, that engage the equally familiar tabs on each quadrant of the body of the piece. The seal is tight, waterproof and secure. The dimensions in the Product Details are correct. Keep in mind that they refer to the lidded container and not just its body, which will be slightly smaller.The Lock&Locks are microwave reheatable, but I never do that. Depending on what I'm reheating, if it has tomatoes or oil, it can stain or mar the container. I transfer to the dish I'm going to serve in, and reheat that way. I do wash them in the dishwasher (top rack) and my oldest pieces are still perfectly functional.I think it would be wise to heed the warning from the manufacturer that appears in the Product Details, "ONLY LOCK & LOCK PRODUCTS "SOLD BY" AMAZON.COM ARE GUARANTEED GENUINE." If it doesn't say "Sold by Amazon.com" under the price, look over on the right side of the Product page and you can generally find one that is. It will cost a bit more, but you won't get a counterfeit knock-off.I am a retired engineer, and I think it may be that the simple, effective and direct way that the Lock&Locks solve the food storage problem appeals to my "tech-y" personality. The way that they preserve the freshness of whatever I put in them appeals to my palate, that's certain!

I gave these to my granddaughter for her kitchen. We bake together so she knows Lock & Lock is an excellent product. I have a variety of sizes including the huge ones for flours and sugar because I bake so much. I have used Lock &Lock for about 20 years. They are my favorite containers to keep my food fresh and safe. All of my containers are still in excellent shape and the hinged clasps are still perfect. They don’t pick up odors. If I want to keep it fresh and safe it goes in a Lock & Lock. Other products have hinges that crack and break, but Lock & Lock lasts. I haven’t had a broken hinge yet. My granddaughter loved this gift because she also knows Lock & Lock is a quality product. She plans to buy more and I promised she will inherit mine because they still will be in perfect shape.
