I tried Crest whitening strips about 5 years ago and to me it seemed like it didn't really whiten at all, and it was difficult to keep the strips in place. My mouth produces a lot of saliva, and so they just slid all over the place and so I gave up. I decided to try these after I got a $400 quote from my dentist for a whitening procedure. Given that COVID makes dentist visits a little risky, and the high cost, I decided to try this emulsions product. I did a 7-day experiment where I used it after breakfast and at bed time for 7 days. My teeth were pretty discolored from daily coffee etc, so there was a lot of room for improvement. I definitely noticed improvement at the end of 7 days, and my wife did too. To my eye, the improvement was probably not as good as my dentist would have gotten (since my brother-in-law had done his via dentist and his teeth ended up pearly white). However, I am smiling more, and with confidence.Regarding application, one does have to start with a dry surface. I found that much easier to do for the top front teeth than for the bottom, which tended to get wet due to a prolific salivary gland. As a result, my tops seem whiter than the bottoms, but not distracting... just noticeable when I look close. Instructions say to just "apply and go." I found better results if I tried to keep my lips off of my teeth for a while after application. Typically, after application, I'd keep my lips off my teeth as best I could while lying down to watch TV or read for a half hour.I'd say this product is definitely worth a try. Yes, is more expensive than strips, but for me the strips just didn't work, so that was just throwing money away.

This works much better than the whitening strips. Easy to use.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a difference the first time I used the product, but it doesn't last past the next meal. Still, it does give a temporary whitening.

The gel is very strong and sets in place when the teeth are dry. It’s really great for getting into those hard to reach places between teeth. It comes with a special wand that is a bit Bendy that allows you to really push the gel in between the teeth and in those crevices that might be hard to reach with the stick on whitener.

The consistency of the emulsion is like Vaseline, and it sticks to itself much better than it sticks to teeth. If you are able to get it to adhere to your teeth at all…..and this is very difficult….it is a clumpy mess that just falls off in minutes. I dried my teeth, tried with both the applicator and fingers, but no luck getting a good application.

I used this product previously when it was marketed as a whitening “emulsion” instead of serum but the formula of the product (thankfully) stayed the same despite the rebranding.I really like this product and prefer it over whitening strips or pens because I can use it twice a day with minimum sensitivity occurring to my teeth - and if the do start getting sensitive skipping a day or two of applications gets my teeth back to normal. It’s not a miracle product but it definitely helps a lot - the last time I used it was 2 years ago and I felt like my teeth stayed lightened until recently which is why I repurchased.Amazon also has to best price, it’s $20+ more if you buy in store.
