Eminence Beta-12CX 12" Coaxial Driver

I purchased these speakers because I thought I had blown my existing speakers. I found out I didn't. However, I replaced two speakers so that I could add the horn on the back. When I heard the difference between the 2 speakers, I had to keep them. Even though the existing speakers were not blown, there was a marked improvement in the overall sound and volume.

1st... what this REALLY is: Eminence Beta-12cx 12" Coaxial Driver2nd... what a HUGE upgrade in sound over the stock Kustom drivers in my powered monitors. It was harsh and painful before. Now, its pleasent to stand in front of the cabinet. Before you would have to dodge the line of sight...Just finsihed a wedding with these and everyone was on the dance floor (with the addition to my sub)... very clear and confident sounding speakers.Finally, just have to say that I have never been let down with Eminence speakers. I have guitar speakers, the Lab 12 (earth shaking), Alpha 6.5's (amazing!)and these Beta-12cx's... Eminence has saved me from a life of mediocre speakers and bad tone. Life is good!

I was able to lower the weight of my speaker cab and keep the sound quality plus have a single source point for the audio.

Amzing midrange vocals and volume quality. I recommend the right tweeter or hf tweeter. Dont use apt 80 they blow out trying to keep up.
