This book is great. It's a textbook about SURGERY, guys. Anyone who complains about the font size being too small has clearly never read a real textbook before, let alone a textbook about surgery. (Besides, if the font were bigger, the book would be about 3,000 pages, so...doing the math...) Also, I actually like that it's a paperback book (and I'm a LOVER of hardcover books, by the way) because flipping through the pages is much easier and the weight of the book isn't nearly as cumbersome as it would be in hardcover. Great book if you're a real student who wants to know how surgery truly works. Otherwise, it's probably not for you. (Surgery is no joke, people. If you want a light read that doesn't expand your medical education, pick up a magazine.)

This book is awesome! I'm using it to study for the CNOR exam. The AORN online prep course tells you what pages in this book correspond to the current module. I'm using it to reinforce what the modules are teaching. The book has much more in-depth information than the modules. Highly recommend it!

ake note that this edition is PAPERBACK. It is not a hardcover, and am disappointed. That's my fault, as I didn't see it on the page when I went back to look at it.However, this book is the Bible for perioperative care. It is an excellent resource for anyone working in the surgical realm.

This was a requirement for CSFA school. Great book, goes into depth about all kinds of different topics relating to surgery. Also came in great condition, like new.

I have worked in surgery for 30 years as a Surgical Tech & RN. This book is a must and IS INDEED best book out there for surgical procedures! Worth the moneyRosie
