Accu-Chek Guide Diabetes Control Solution for Diabetic Blood Glucose Monitoring (Level 1 & 2 for Guide and Guide Me Test Meters)

I received the Accu Check Guide Me control solution as ordered. I was able to run control tests on my monitor to make sure it was giving accurate readings.

My hubby is diabetic and asked me to order this new monitor for him. He hasn't complained so we will call that a win. With his old monitor, he complained about the display, the functioning of the buttons, the place where the test strip inserted. He has not had any complaints at all -- not these and not others --- so that's a high endorsement.

Good item to purchase here on Amazon because many pharmacies in my area do not carry the control solution in stock.

Works just like it should.

Same meter as I bought before. It's fine. But the carrying pouch is much smaller and doesn't have the net with zipper inside to stop the lances from spilling all over.I called Accu-Chek customer support. Pretty much nonexistent. Don't answer. Don't bother with the Chat either. They used to be very responsive.

Very accurate and consistent. You can take three readings back to back and be within 5 points from highest to lowest. Test strip refills are readily available and cost effective.

My sweet 5 month old baby boy was diagnosed with Congenital Hyperinsulinism at 3 weeks old after being in the NICU with severely low blood sugar for weeks. He is on medications to keep his sugar levels up but we still have to check him several times a day.We use the Accuchek Guide meter that was given to us at the end of our NICU stay. I ordered the control solution because I am always worried that our meter isn’t accurate for some reason and needs to be calibrated. It was affordable and came in the mail quick with prime. It was super simple to use and to be honest I didn’t even ready the instructions. Like the blood requirement when testing It only requires a very very small drop onto the test strip and then I just followed what the meter said to do. You have to be careful though because the solution comes out really quickly. So far, it has worked great and we haven’t had any issue or our meter read out of range with the solutions. We use it every time we open a new container of test strip or have to change the batteries in the meter and it has always been accurate and within range. We have even compare it to our hospital and doctors readings with at visits. This has helped keep my mind at ease that I am getting very close to correct blood sugar readings on my sweet boy when at home!
