Awesome game.
Awesome game. After using our game for the last 8 years, practically every other day, the shapes started fading and wearing off to the point it was difficult to see them. We loved the game so much that we ordered another one.

Fun
Fun game. We learned how to play it at a senior game time at church. Bought it and our family loves it. 13 year old grandson wants to play it when he comes and even borrowed to take it home to play with the fam.

Great quality game and pieces
This is an easy game to pick up, and similar to rummikub. The pieces are a nice wood quality, and it's still a good size despite being for travel. Only downside is the red and orange are similar in hue, so it can be a little hard to distinguish. Otherwise, a great game to have for the go!

Fun portable game of strategy, great to take on vacation or play at home.
I like that this game requires enough strategy to make it interesting, yet it is not frustrating for my six and nine year old grandkids. This portable version is great for vacation.

Fantastic for LOGIC and STRATEGY GAME fans
PROS:- Fun!!!- Challenging, strategic, makes you think (but you play open-handed so you can help out the younger players a bit if needed)- For many age groups + no language restriction, since there is no reading involved, just symbols and colors- Well-made wooden cubes and thick cotton drawstring bag- Can be played in around 45 minutes to an hourCONS:- learning curve of understanding the Qwirkle rules — The first few times it took all the players constant attention to make sure no one was accidentally breaking any qwirkle rules when placing the cubes. It is definitely worth the time investment to get the hang of the game, especially for a strategic game enthusiast like me, but I noticed players who weren't 100% into logic games couldn't get over the initial hurdle of learning and applying the rules.I love this strategic game and hope we get a chance to play it even more as our (now) little kids get older. We don't have the much praised "original" Qwirkle, so I can't compare, but I find this version very fun and engaging. It reminds me of Scrabble, but without letters/words — we have a great age range in our family and also members who don't speak English fluently, so this symbol and color based game is perfect for us! Getting into Qwirkle mode and immersing yourself in the thinking of the game is the one hurdle that has kept this game from being a winner with all players — you really have to commit to learning the game (no casual players). However, to me the beauty and challenge of the game lies in these very rules that are simple but require everyone to think through every cube placed, so I would still highly recommend Qwirkle Cubes to anyone who enjoys logic-based games.

Love this game!
The pieces are small (a little smaller than I thought they would be), but it works great to travel with. Absolutely love this game.

Nice Variation to Standard Qwirkle
Introduces yet another aspect of chance (with the rolling of the cubes as you desire) into the game. Its also nice to have all the pieces in a bag. The standard version we have did not have such a bag so we have to put the tiles back in the box after each play.Wife and I alternate this with the standard version and the card-deck version. She still loses! :-)

This is a wonderful game for people who have had brain surgery. We played this game three times a day to keep his mind active.
