I was skeptical but they do work (Lenovo Legion Slim 5 14APH8)!
I am very skeptical when it comes to tech gadgets, especially if they seem too "simple" to work. Same for these heatsinks. I am used to much bigger, huge surface heatsinks or even watercooling devices but I thought I'd give them a try, considering their low price.Installation was very simple but I did make some changes. First, I used some super-thin adhesive tape that I bought for heatsinks on my stepper motor drivers. Two reasons: 1) I know it adheres great and some reviews stated that the included pads don't stick too well. This also eliminated the need for the rubber bands. 2) it adds virtually no thickness which can be a problem in tight areas. As an additional benefit, I was able to use the pads on the case to ensure a good heat transfer. Let me explain (I really should add some pictures but I try not to open the case too much; maybe later) - the thermal pads that come pre-installed in the laptop to move heat away from the SSDs are covering about half of the SSD. I stacked all of the pads, cut the stack in half, and it fit perfectly to complement the existing pad and cover the entire length of the SSDs. Bonus observation: Although I used my own isopropyl alcohol to clean everything, I was surprised that the included wet wipes actually were wet, not bone dry as most other reviewers experienced. After putting the case back together and starting CrystalDiskInfo, I noticed a significant drop in temperature. I typically don't stress my laptop much and the temps were around 40 °C for both drives. With the new heatsinks installed, they dropped to 32/33 °C for the main SSD and 26-28 °C for my second drive. This is way more than the 4-5 degrees that I expected! Not sure if the claim I read somewhere that SSDs can get too cool to work properly....Overall, I am super happy and recommend these heatsinks for anyone who's worried about their SSDs getting too warm.

Great heatsinks, best price for 4x heatsinks!
High quality NVMe heatsinks.I was a bit worried because they came in a flimsy cardboard package but pleasantly surprised by their quality. There are no instructions, so you'll have to figure it out yourself or look it up but it's very easy to install them. This comes with 4x copper heatsinks, 4x 0.5mm thermal pads, 4x 1.0mm thermal pads, and a bunch of rubber bands.I had to install the heatsink backwards due to the way that my laptop is built ant I opted to use Kapton tape instead of the rubber bands to attach the thermal pad/heatsink to my NVMe drive.I have had zero issues so far, the thermal performance is excellent, and the heatsinks work as expected.Pro-tip: I doubled up the heatsinks so each drive has two with a smattering of thermal paste in between to fill in the gaps, and I cut up the thermal pads to cover only the controller and NAND packages. I cut them up because NVMe drives have caps which get loud/have coil whine if they are under the thermal pads.tl;dr - If you need 4 copper NVMe heatsinks at the best price on Amazon, this is the only option so I would wholeheartedly recommend them!

Just what I was looking for!
In search of a slim heatsink for my Sabrent Rocket 4 installed in my laptop, I stumbled upon this perfect solution. The heatsink's flawless fit left ample clearance, alleviating any concerns I had. A straightforward process of trimming the thermal pad to size, attaching the heatsink, and securing it with the included silicone bands was all it took. The result? Remarkable! My SSD now maintains an impressively low idle temperature of around 37°C. This heatsink not only exceeded my expectations but also offered an effortless installation experience. If you're seeking an effective and hassle-free way to keep your SSD cool, look no further – this product is a game-changer.

No issues
No issues so far and seems to dissipate the heat well

Smart to use if you have an external enclosure.
M.2 drives throttle slower when they get hot. Without a heatsink, they heat up fast when writing large files.I have a couple of drives in external enclosures, and they had NO mechanism to carry the heat away or prevent heat buildup. These shiny copper plates carry the heat away, spread it out, and keep your drive running faster. Before- and-after testing proved to me that I made the right choice to use a heat sink.Comes with thin and standard thermal pads.Reduces heat from 70C to 50C on a bulk file transfer. Drops further down to 40C when in an enclosure with contact to more metal.I've used this in a laptop and external enclosures.Tip: Do not remove stickers from M.2 drives, as they also transfer heat away.Good luck,-Chris

Nice kit to adapt an NVMe to laptop use
Had an Inland Premium 1TB PCIe Gen 3 M.2 formerly used in my desktop and placed it in a Lenovo Ideapad 3 laptop that needed some additional cooling. The slim copper sink and thermal pad were well suited to keep the upper part of the SSD stick covered without impeding on the bottom cover. Had to shorten the bottom heatsink to make sure it cleared the socket area using a dremel tool for the cut, and the sink's design made that quick and simple. The included tiny rubber rings were just the right size and flexibility to maintain the slim profile while still sandwiching the SSD tightly enough. Temps are much cooler as well at higher workload. This heatsink kit saved me from having to pay $50 more to buy a new NVMe drive and re-use a perfectly good and speedy M.2 drive which had been rotated out to make way for an upgrade.

Perfect for tight areas.
I planned to use this in my HP Elitedesk Mini but ended up changing the project.Product looked and felt nice, well built. If you do not have much room to work with, I would definitely suggest this slim profile heatsink. Fits wonderfully for that issue.

Heatsinks are an improvement from prefab PCs
Heatsinks are an improvement from prefab PCs, not going to disclose the PC maker this heatsink replaced but they used a half thermal pad and half length heatsink on a full sized NVMe SSD on a CTO. I love this maker having the cutout so this heatsink covers the full NVMe. The thermal pad is much better than most OEMs so that is a major plus.
