I can vouch for the accuracy of this device. I work in a pressure calibration laboratory and compared it against our high-end pressure calibrator, and the greatest error was 1 mmHg, the device has a manufacturer's claimed accuracy of ±3 mmHg, so well within the accuracy. I have seen worse on more well-known blood pressure checkers.

Firstly read instructions.Please sit down, straighten your back, take off heavy clothes, and place the cuff parallel to the heart of your chest. Keep two fingers hole space, so you will not feel much stress and tight. Calm down and press start button.

The unit is pre-calibrated. Do you mean switching the unit of measure? This is explained in s3 on p7 of the instructions I.e. In shutdown mode long press the start/stop button & the unit of measurement toggles between mmHg & kPa. I hope this is helpful!
