My Pre K class loves this game. So many ways to vary the game to meet the needs/abilities of the kids. We were still learning uppercase so removed lower case. Used to measure phone logical awareness by have them pick a leet then give me a word that starts with that letter

This game is an absolute hit in our homeschool family! It’s so easy to play and the kids love that it’s learning that doesn’t feel boring! The cards are very thick and durable so it will last!

My preschooler loves this game! We changed the game play a little to make it a more positive experience for her. For example, we removed the "Pop" cards, which require you to put all of the letters that you got correct, back in the box. I also allow her to guess my letter first. If she gets it right, then she gets to keep it, and if she gets it wrong, then I "guess" and keep it. This allows her the opportunity to learn to recognize more letters, and also gives her a better chance at winning the game. As she gets better at it, we will make it harder (as it is intended to be played). I also really like how it includes both uppercase and lowercase letters. She begs us to play this game with her. It's great to watch the fun involved in learning letter recognition with this game.

This made my preschooler excited about letter recognition. We played it with capital letters only and then added lower case. Even my 8 year old loved it!

My kids love the sight word and adding/subtracting pop game. I wish the blends and word families had actual word, but we have skipped them for now. This letter one is great for working on letter identification and sounds with my youngest child.

My kindergarten loved this game. We didn't do the part about penalties for if you got the letter wrong. I don't know how much play we will get out of it before it seems too easy, but for now it is fun!

I've got to give this 5 stars because my 4 year old has wanted to play it every night since we got it, and now only has a few letters that he doesn't know. I think we will move on to saying the letter sounds next. Like others, we don't play how the directions say. We play more like this:I take a popcorn, hold it up, if he gets the answer, he keeps it.Then he takes a popcorn, if he gets the answer, he keeps it.If he doesn't know what it is, I keep it.When one of us gets a POP, he jumps up and down around the room, and I put the top on and shake up the popcorn box.At the end, I give him a chance to tell me what the letters are on the one's that I have, so he can "steal" them from me.So it's not much of a "game" but neither was the original game, and he always wins, but he's 4 so that's fine with him. The original instructions probably work better in a classroom or playdate or something with similar age kids playing, but with a parent playing we had to mix it up (obviously otherwise I'd be getting every letter)Tonight we played a variation where his favorite stuffed animal played as well, and he answered for him.I think just a few more nights and he'll know the letters entirely.

My son who was completely uninterested in learning his ABC's loves this game and after a few weeks knows about half of upper and lower case letters. Would definitely recommend!
