I have used these for years - I did try some cheaper ones but they were so difficult to swallow I was very happy to return to these.

Have taken these with other health span products for over 30 years and wouldn’t ever change them

Virtually tasteless. Does not crumble in mouth so comfortable to swallow despite the size. Not sure yet about the effects, hence 4/5 stars.

Update 2:I’ve taken my review from 5 stars to 1 star. My most recent order contained generic msm with magnese, and not the optimsm advertised. I’ve checked their website and Amazon product page and it looks like they’ve changed the formula and no longer sell Optimsm without magnese, and haven’t updated the product listing. I will no longer be purchasing or recommending moving forwards. Such a shame :(Update 1:I have purchased 3x now. I’ve tried other brands in between, and keep coming back. It’s worth the money out of convenience and consistent skin benefits alone.Original review:I take 2-3 with 1000 mg vit C and collagen powder. My new hair growth is smooth and silky, my skin glows, and I wake up less stiff. I’m experiencing increased mobility when stretching. I also lose weight easier when I take msm. I used to walk 6-10k daily but since an injury I haven’t been able to and still look lean. Great for lowering sugar cravings caused by candida.Warning:If you raise your dosage too rapidly, you may experience bloating, headaches and the worst-smelling gas. The powder is cheaper. However these are perfect for on-the-go or if you hate the powder taste. Insomnia and trippy dreams can occur if taken too close to bedtime. Also it can make your periods lighter or alter your cycle by couple days. Consuming 2 litres of water a day can prevent some of the side effects.

These came with an expiry date well over a year away, which is a good start. They're moderate sized hard tablets kept fresh in blister packs (I don't know if this is a good thing or not, but does require more packaging). 1000mg is the tablet dose, and recommends taking 2-3 a day, so potentially only 40 days supply. I've always taken the view that manufacturer doses are pretty high, and stick with the one. I combine them with glucosamine and chondroitin, for my joints, but I was told MSM can also help with dry eye, so I take them for that too. Oh, and they're made in the UK (that might be just me, but I choose supplements made in the UK or EU for security).

Healthspan are a quality go-to brand for vitamins. They are produced in the UK with quality ingredients. I like that the packaging is recyclable too. I like that they are vegan friendly too, I can struggle to find good quality veggie/vegan supplements.For a tenner you get 120 tablets. OptiMSM helps reduce inflammation and can therefore help support those with joint issues such as osteoporosis. It also helps reduce muscle soreness, so if you are a runner then they can help reduce recovery time.The tablets are quite large and bulky so it takes a good gulp of water to wash them down - this may put some off.Overall a great product from a good vitamin company. Highly recommend.

Good product but prefer to be packed in a bottle.
