This is top of the line in french fry cutter blades. The product is super-heavy duy and will last a lifetime from the looks of it. It is very well-made and chrome plated. It fits my Sabino electric french fry cutter perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

OK I bought the French fry maker with the 1/2 inch blades which worked nicely but since I oven "fry" the French fries were not always as crispy all the way through... yeah I could bake them for longer times...With this 3/8 inch cutter the fries cooks quicker and comes out crispier. An 1/8 inch in size may not sound like a lot of difference but it is a big difference in the fries. I cook both the same way, spritz on some olive oil and spices and mix to coat all and bake. The 1/2 inch fries would be crispy on the outside but more like a bake potato on the inside. The 3/8 would be more done all the way through. There is a lot of moisture in potatoes and the 1/2 inch fries seem to steam more then "fry" in the middle. Both sizes the fries will shrink a lot each losing about an 1/8 inch in thickness. OK I never actually measured the size but what started out as a very full sheet pan ends up being about 3/4 of the sheet pan after cooking.

Perfect for smaller size vegetables. Easy to change and easy to clean.

This was the wrong size so I had to returtn it but it was very well built

So far so good cuts well.
