Love this pan!
Got rid of my other bread pan that had a nonstick coating and was a little hesitant to buy and uncoated one. But I have had zero issues baking with it so far! I used parchment paper for banana bread and clean up is super easy and I have also made meatloaf with no lining and it came out just fine as well. Super even baking and I'm so glad I gave this a try!I have only handwashed this pan to date and have not thrown it in the dishwasher yet.

Excellent heavy loaf pan.
Excellent, heavy loaf pan, great price. I don’t understand the the negative reviews. Before baking, grease the pan (don’t use spray!), after baking, turn out the loaf to cool, then wash the pan immediately using hot water & dish liquid. Dry w/a dish towel. DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER! If you don’t want to take a couple extra minutes to care for it, this isn’t a loaf pan for you.

Not "Cold Corner" Pans
Prefer 'cold corners' on the interior of a pan. This one has spaces under the 'folds' of the pan where food can get trapped and is not easy to clean. Otherwise, great pans. But DON'T put them in a dishwasher. I know from experience, these pans will tarnish and not yield the best results if you do. I wash mine by hand with hot water and soap and they never stick. You may have to "tent" the bread with foil so the top doesn't get overly browned so the bread has time to cook on the sides and bottom. Maybe because of the thickness of the pan.....not sure. I also recommend using a thermometer instead of timing your bread. Never tried these pans with anything else but I bought them specifically for baking loaf bread. Can't beat the price.

Sturdy pan
It is a nice heavy pan. I have used it twice, and the cleanup is easy. I highly recommend this loaf pan.

Nice pan
I loved this pan. I was looking for one making in America and no coating. Turned out impossible. This one worked great for my loads tho. I’ll definitely buy another!

Wonderful bread pan!
I just love the two pans that I bought. I line them each time with parchment paper - well wroth the small effort - and the pans are so easy to clean and kept looking like new. Bakes evenly. I'm buying two more, a treat to myself for all the bread that I make for family and friends!

It’s okay
I don’t like that the dough gets in the the inside seam. It makes it hard to get clean.

Dough Sticks!
In my order of two Chicago Metallic loaf pans, one pan is perfect! Loaf slides out of the pan perfectly. The other pan is dreadful--I have to struggle to pry the broken loaf from the pan. I oiled both pans equally well, but still had these sticking problems. AND the oil leaks! So that tells me the pans aren't completely sealed. The metal of the bad pan has discolored, and feels slightly rougher than the other one; I think there's something wrong with its metallic composition. Why are the two so different? I bought these new loaf pans and discarded old ones BECAUSE dough stuck to the old ones! I would NOT buy this product again.
