Will not support 4K UHD Bluray Copy-Protected Discs.
This item did not support 4K UHD Bluray Copy-Protected Disc playback.After much (very good) discussion with vendor, we agreed that this was due to incompatibility as the device was onlysupporting HDCP 1.4. The requirement to transmit this resolution/copy protection is HDCP 2.2. through all video chain.HDCP 2.2 is not backwards compatible.All of this was unknown to me and led to an unsuitable purchase.I must say that the agent's support was excellent in establishing the root cause of the problem.
