Handy Art Student Acrylic Paint 16 ounce, Blockout White

This paint requires too many coats of paint to cover mistakes, that it isn't worth it. More coats of paint equates to more paint being used, more time wasted drying the paint, and a thick surface due to extra coats of paint. It is better to spend a few more dollars for Applebarrel or Liquitex brands. Also, the paint has an unpleasant odor until it dries.

this paint is a great value for the size of the bottle. I enjoyed the thickness and coverage the paint had on a canvas. I also used this paint on a black canvas, it needed a couple cots to have the coverage I was looking for which I didn't mind. I would purchase this paint again for my art projects. it also wipes away easy and cleans off brushes nicely.

Bought this since the brand I usually buy on amazon wasn't available when I needed it.This had decent reviews, but is an inferior acrylic to the other "block-out" whites. It's not as thick, taking many more coats to actually block out. I'm trying to use it up, so that I don't waste it, but have gone back to using my normal go-tos.

Horrible. Thin, sheer, not "blockout white" as advertised. 6 coats on wood and its still not covered.

For a paint with "blockout" in the name, it doesn't really do that. It doesn't cover well, you need many many coats. Value for price isn't bad.

This is not blockout white paint... not sure what it is, but has the consistency of plain water with a dab of white pigment.

It’s decent white paint for what you pay for. The paint is a bit thin though, and needs multiple coats for an opaque layer. Be sure to shake the bottle before use as the paint can separate.
