False Advertising/misinformed seller
I asked the seller before purchasing to verify the mats would fit my 2016 Tiguan and they confirmed that it does. Went ahead and ordered and the front mats are great. The back are definitely too big and go up the sides of the floor. Also comes with a middle mat for the back that’s way too big. I find it problematic the sellers answers can’t even be trusted. If i had known this, i absolutely would NOT have purchased these mats and would have spent more for properly fitting mats. I should’ve known since the 2017 tiguan has en entirely new body/size so there’s no way for the mats to fit for both. Just a warning to those who are looking for mats for their 2016 or older tiguan - go elsewhere.

these are amazing! fits my 2011 vw tiguan exactly. durable, would definitelyrecommend.

Cheap. Not Compatible with 2011 VW Tiguan.
The front two fit okay but the back ones are too big. However, the front two keep sliding up on the pedal because they are cheap and the holes do not hold them in place. I assume they can't be refunded either because they send it as a piece that requires you to cut them off just to install them.

Can't recommend - Rear mats did not fit my 2016 Tiguan
The product description says they fit 2010 thru 2017 Tiguan but that was not my experience. The front mats fit but would not secure to the in floor tabs on my vehicle which was the reason I was replacing the old mats (safety issue).I ended up buying factory replacement mats: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004JO3VQI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Very happy with these!

Good Mats but they are not exactly OEM fitting.
Mats are great, but only about 90% accurate when it comes to fit meaning they wont fit exactly on the floor buttons and the cut of the mats is different than oem mats in random ways. The mats feel quality and are heavy as they are supposed to be. Shipping was fast and the packaging was excellent.

Fit is off
Driver side mat fits well. Passenger side holes are way off, had to do quite a bit of cutting to get them to fit. Otherwise they are working well so far.
