This is such a great nativity set for a toddler or pre-schooler. My kid loves playing with the nativity set at Christmas time, but the one we originally had was too fragile for a kid to play with.The pieces are a nice size. I was worried they would be too small but instead these are a good size. Each piece is thick and well painted. Nothing feels flimsy.I love that the box transforms into a manger. I assumed, incorrectly, that the box would be flimsy and I would wind up throwing it out. But, it is really sturdy. I like how it unfolds as the manger.Honestly, for the price I paid, I thought I would be getting a super cheap nativity set that would last one year. I anticipate that this will last for years and that my kid will love playing with it for years to come.I highly recommend this set.

These are sturdy, well made pieces. The paint job is great and nothing is chipping or scratching, and my kids are rough with them. My 3 year old loves this set. He carries the pieces around and plays with them without the box most of the time. He asks who the characters are and it’s a great chance to talk about Jesus’ birth.

Just as the resurrection story figures and backdrop are an enjoyable way for children to learn these importatnt truths about their faith, the nativity set is equally well made and designed. Used for Sunday School Class and they were both a hit. Very popular item among the preschool set.

I absolutely love this! It’s really cute, I love that it unfolds so you can play on the “sand” and in the manger. It has all of the pieces one would want to play with, nothing is a choking hazard. My siblings liked playing with it, so it’s kid approved.

The wooden pieces are very cute. Paint seems durable. The box "stable" is not super sturdy for play though if you've got a rough 2 year old like I do. Still a good buy in my opinion and loved introducing my daughter to the Christmas story with interactive pieces.

I used this to teach the story of Jesus’s birth to our Sunday school kids. They loved being able to place the pieces. Wooden pieces has been nice since we don’t need to be worried about them getting beat up.
