Excellent tripod for the money
This is an excellent tripod. As a professional photographer I have used many types over the years, some costing £300 to £400 and I can honestly say that this tripod feels up there with the expensive ones. Great value for money and this being my first ball socket it has great advantages over multiple adjusters. You can't go wrong for the price with this tripod.

Portable and easy to use
This tripod is brilliant, not only can I mount my DSLR I can also mount my phone using the adjustable phone clip. I've started doing some stop motion animation with my son and this is perfect for keeping the camera still and adjusting it where needed. The flexible legs are also useful for mounting the camera in unusual places.

Disappointing quality that kills the usefulness of the product
It's a cheap tripod so didn't expect it to be bulletproof, but a couple of the lock nuts are poorly manufactured so I can't tighten the top plate in place; the camera just flops forward. I'll need to add some shims or washers to tighten up the fittings if I want to use this. Product failure in a very basic feature.

Great value tripod.
An excellent product, especially considering the price. I own a far more expensive Manfrotto tripod and this has more features than that!

Absolutely amazing, amazing
Absolutely amazing, amazing, amazing. Really high quality, the pivot is perfect an reasonably light, not very large at all when compressed, but huge when full size. The spirit levels are really helpful when trying to get a level picture and it is really easy to fit the camera to the stand with the little foot that screws into the camera. Love it, can take a lot of weight from what I have used it for so far. Really, really happy, definitely worth that little bit more money than the £20 stuff

What a great lightweight tripod
What a great lightweight tripod. Very good quality for the price you pay. It's very compact, very easy to use and it has everything you can want from a tripod. Well, one thing it's doesn't have is weight. But that's the beauty of it as you can take it pretty much anywhere. Been using for a little while now and it stood trough some harsh winds and rains and held up very well.My favorite part of is probably the ball head, so easy to position camera whatever direction or tilt you want. It's got a little spririt level to make sure you have it straight. The legs extend with an easy twisting move also get quite wide for windier days, so you can anchor it into the ground, also adding gear bag on the tripod hook and it's not going anywhere. Also really like that you can get camera very low to the ground without too much screwing and unscrewing, all you have to do is invert the tripod legs and you've got super low view. Altough there's is an option to do it an old fashioned way when you have to unscrew the neck pole, flip it around and screw it back in place, but I prefer the first option as it's so much easier and quicker. The plate that attaches to the camera is metal, which I really like, cause most cheaper tripods only give you a plastic option, which I tend not to trust a lot. Altough the mechanism to fix it to the tripod is quite undertought I think, it's a little fiddly and small, but holds the camera in place very well, I guess that's the most important thing. The tripod packs so tiny into a bag that it came which got a shoulder strap, very good for storing and transporting.Overall im very happy with this tripod and would definitely recommend for pros and for armatures who need one on a budget.
