What the heck, it was cheap.
I give this 2.5 to 3 stars because the sound is basically very good. Nice that it plays lossless files. However, it comes up short in many other regards, thus the overall lower rating. The two biggest reasons it doesn't cut it as an "audiophile" player are:1. No gapless playback and2. No real playlist support (Sorry, "On-the-Go" playlists don't count - they're useless).The blue tooth is quite good as far as sound quality is concerned, but can be difficult to pair with some devices.The user interface leaves much to be desired, especially with regard to navigation. You can't really do anything quickly and easily. If you're in the car, set it to playing, THEN start driving. If you need to change something, you'd best pull over first. Seriously, trying to operate this while driving is an accident waiting to happen.It has many annoying quirks, i.e.:* You can't use the pedometer feature AND blue tooth at the same time.* It is far too easy to press the record button accidentally.* When unlocked, you can't "wake it up" by simply touching the screen; you must first press a button on the side.I could go on and nitpick this player to death, but then one must keep things in perspective. I might be expecting too much from a device in this price range.

Very heavy and poor quality player
I was looking for a player to use while biking/working out. This player is very heavy. It's like having a pocket full of quarters, bouncing around every step you take. It's not the nice metal cases that apple uses. This is a large block of steel with an mp3 player inside.Second, yes you can add a memory card, but all the music on the card is separate. It doesn't show up in any of the play lists. You have to go into settings and change to play from card. But then you don't have access to any of the music stored internally. The 2 memories are completely separate.Third, the screen is horrible. Poor resolution, blurry icons and they used some really poor colors to highlight so it's almost impossible to tell what you've selected. It's even worse outside in daylight. Unusable.Even at $10, this player isn't worth it. I returned it after a couple of days.

Battery lasts under a week, not 30 days in standby mode
Probably a fault with my device but the battery has never given me 30 days standby life since it was purchased 9 months ago. I initially thought the battery ran down because I'd forgotten to turn it off which wasn't the case. Battery standby time is less than 7 days and has to be charged once a week even when the device hasn't been used for that period because of a dead battery. I purchased this as a replacement for an old SanDisk Sansa Fuze purchased in 2008 whose battery lasted a full 24 hours listening to mp3s and FM radio between charges and which I recently began using again after buying a new battery. Disappointing

Ok while it works.
It's a decent player while it works. Worth noting that the screen scratches very easily. Purchased in March 2019, suddenly in December 2019 the battery decided it no longer wanted to hold a charge and would only work for 45 min before needing recharge. Before that it would give around 16 hours mp3 playback or 4 hours radio. Even though this was inexpensive I likely won't buy this brand again due to less than a year battery failure.

Heavy MP3 Player
Purchased this MP3 player to listen to downloaded study courses while driving and preforming routine chores. For listening to music this MP3 player is very good. Very easy to download songs and other MP3 audio. Sound quality is excellent. However, it does not connect by Bluetooth as easily as advertised, in fact, I have not been able to connect it with either headphones or vehicle Bluetooth. The screen is very bad. Hard to read, text is too small. There is no manner of stopping the playing program and going back for a few seconds to re-hear/review a part of a song or speech. If listening to music is your goal while jogging or walking, please take into consideration that the unit is verrrry heavy.

Good, overall until something happened...
I bought this Mp3 player in December 2018 because my old one broke. I have to admit, for the first year, it worked great. I downloaded some music on it and listened to it whenever I was cleaning, doing dishes, and just whenever I felt like it. However, in November, I plugged in my ear buds and went to my music, but it said "No music". IT DELETED ALL MY MUSIC FOR NO REASON. I did nothing. It just deleted it. It also deleted all my files, all my videos, and all my pictures! I have nothing on there now. I don't know what happened. If u buy this, be warned.

It works once you get the music on there.
1. Very difficult for me to download music from both ends, MPS and laptop.2. Hard to locate folder from my laptop.3. 4 try before I can download music from my laptop.4. The MP3 touch screen was hard to open.5. Download time over all was 1.5 hrs to get 13 songs on there. It was very antiquated for me coming from IPODS to this. My husband ordered it for himself.

Amazing!
This MP3 music player is not on the tec-radar lists of best music players on the market, but ( for the price) it is one of the best I have seen so far, its battery charge very quickly, and I like it a lot.
