It's a hit
My son loves this item and the fact that it's shaped like a baseball as well as makes popcorn that's not in a bag with minimal butter. I'm not too fond of it because it doesn't really pop the corn all of the ways so you're eating half-popped popcorn. Also, the butter oil that you get for the popcorn, you can't really put it into the machine since there's a warning stating not to put oil or butter in the popping chamber. So you're pretty much-cleaning butter and salt out of the bowl days after finally getting through the handful of half popped corn.

The only problem is that it doesnt work
It is very pretty and small for smaller apartments, but the only issue was that when I plugged it never start heating up. It kept cold for 30 min. I tried it 3 times in different outlets until I decided to ship it back.

very cute and works fine. the bowl however, does not click on correctly, so you have to hold it the entire time it pops

This is a birthday present for a husband and wife in September. They love baseball and popcorn and they make theirs the old-fashioned way. I will not be using it but I'm sure they will love it!

Good but need to improve switch
The only issue I have is that the bowl doesn't stay in place well when the popcorn is popping. There is a switch which the bowl must trigger for the machine to turn on. I have to hold the bowl in place or else it will pop off the switch and have no power.

made a horrible howling noise and then stopped working
I tried using this popcorn maker right away after I opened it - it started glowing very bright inside the popping chamber, made a horrible howling noise and then stopped working. Thanks to Amazon for accepting it back for a full refund!
