I use this in my yard to cut small woody overgrowth, limbs etc from easy to reach heights. It works great, easy to hold and super sharp, cuts right through limbs, small trees, vines, etc. Very Light weight and maneuverable- use this before i have to pull out the gas powered pole saws, chain saws, hedge trimmers. Love it and always wanted one. Do not regret purchasing and probably will purchase more in the near future -maybe as gifts as well. I cannot say for sure how long it holds up, but I hope it last a long time. Very convenient to use and prefer these over hand held clippers, pruners, loppers...

I had been contemplating a Japanese saw for a few years, but kept wondering if I really needed one. Since I purchased it, I have used it everyday. Now, I wonder what I did without it. I make art pieces and work with small formats. There really isn’t another tool that does what this saw can do. Pull saws are more precise and flexible. If you think that you might need one, don’t hesitate.

Was able to trim some tight joints and trim pieces for some cabinets I was building. It’s wide flat blade offers some advantages of control that I have not experienced before with other to I own and use. The saw is sturdy and quality made with extremely sharp teeth of the blade. I know it’s a tool used by artisans in Japan and I’m sure I’m not doing it justice. But it has proven useful and will keep it handy.

I purchased the 6 inch version. I've used it mostly in joinery where I drill holes completely through both pieces of wood, push a dowel (with glue) through the hole, then saw off the dowel flush with the surface of the wood. This saw makes those flush cuts really easy and smooth. By putting the holes at a 45 degree angle in two directions I'm getting very solid joints with no screws or nails. It is also good for making dovetail and box joints, although I haven't used it as much for those . . . yet.

Needed something better than a hand trim saw for cutting apart the tabs on my CNC router projects. This Japanese pull saw works perfectly. The very fine, very sharp teeth make short work of parting the tabs. Very glad I bought it.One wish, I would like to have a plastic guard for the blade to slide into, to protect the saw, and me when it's not in use. It is very very sharp, and a flesh cutting danger when laying on the work bench.

I scalloped 450’ of picket fence with this saw in a short period of time. I’m thankful I purchased this saw!

Seriously. It's awesome. I don't know what I was thinking, I was using an oscillating multi-tool... which works... but this is just so much easier. And more satisfying. And less noisy. And I don't have to worry about burning/burnishing the wood with a dull oscillating tool blade.

I use it for all my house fixcarpenter work and small and middle size wooden projects, very pleasing with quality and variety of job this magic saw able to do in my hands of 71 years young lady.Highly recommend

How did I manage without it.My one regret is not buying one years ago.Light weight, sharp, comfortable to use, this saw was built by someone who cares.

Works very well

For the first time in my life I was able to saw through a piece of wood with ease. My first experience with a pull saw, and it was very good. Both the edges of the cut were smooth unlike normal saws and it required very little effort to cut. Very happy with the product.
