Great hooks! sharp and strong

Nice hooks, good quality, great for tying spiders or other soft hackles and I love that it comes with a mini fly box as they are perfect for pocketing some flies for impromptu fishing.

Uniform hook size and decent quality for tying small nymphs, I tie fly's in volume, pick a pattern and tie 20 at a time and the hooks tie well, tied over 500 in sizes from 6 to 14 with no problem.

The media could not be loaded. People complained about this manufacturer's hooks being poor quality. Rough eyes breaking the leader. I immediately tried tying 5x tippet material to the eye of these jig hooks and then tried to break it while moving the tippet material all around on the eye. I tried pulling as hard as I could and even pulled the hook out of my forceps. I could not get the tippet material to break, tried moving it this way and that way like sawing and the tippet never broke. Seems to me these jig hooks are great. I will change my review after I have tied mostly mop flies and caught fish, should the tippet material starts to saw into by what others claim as rough eyes. So far they seem great for a great price. Ordered Tuesday received Wednesday. Perfect so far. See 54 second video.

These fly jig hooks are uniform and excellent. The points are well shaped and strong. The head loops are clised correctly as some hooks leave a gap that can cut tippet. These hooks are barbless which saves crimping the barb before tying and gives a smooth hookset. The hooks came with a small but functional flybox for those quick fishing runs...a nice bonus!

These hooks are great and I haven’t had any strength issues with them so far. They also came with a small fly box which is great if I tie for friends or just want a small box of spare flies. I wish they sold more types and sizes and I’d probably only buy these hooks.

I like the size of the hook. I was not happy that the hook has a slight twist in it. I prefer a straight hook to tie my fly.

This makes the 3rd purchase of the 100 ct packs.I sell all of my flies so quality is a must. Ive yet to have a customer came back saying the hook broke off during a battle with a big trout or getting un snagged. As many hooks as I go through I would not be worth the effort to tie on anything different. If your supplying your region / locals with flies. Give these a try.The case is a bonus.
