Anki Cozmo Limited Edition (Interstellar Blue), A Fun, Educational Toy Robot for Kids

Where to start? 5 people ranging from 7-46 in my household fell in love with Cosmo instantly. My 20 year old does coding and finds Cosmo beyond adorable. It was his cmas gift. That said I'm watching my 7 and 9 year old do extra chores to garner favor to get to play with Cosmo lol! (I didn't ask them to..they went out of their way on their own lol). We have multiple hallways, one is 20+ feet (tile floor) and a great dane and a dachshund. We go explore and use his camera to see where we're going. It's hilarious to see a great dane from his POV!! I wasn't sure given the cost but Cosmo is worth every penny. We've loaded the app on kindles, android phones with no problems. There's daily rewards and unlocking new games to keep everyone engaged, it's not an item you'll get bored with quickly. People who did likely didn't fully explore Cosmo's capabilities. I can't lie, I wish he could talk back freely lol...yes, he is that cute!! My 3 kiddos are pictured playing one of the many games, yes, it's multiplayer as well!

This little guy is really, really fun. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at just how much Cozmo really comes to life. From his digital eyes, noises down to the movements it makes give it so much personality. It was a Christmas gift to my 9 year old daughter from her grandmother which went really well with the tablet that Santa brought her. It was so much fun to see her and her 3 year old sister laugh and laugh playing games with Cozmo and then also taking control of it and driving and lifting the blocks themselves. The 3 year old would not be able to play with it by herself but with the help of her older sister they were both having a blast. We have only had it a few days but the build quality seems sturdy enough to survive minor abuse but you would want to warn younger kids that they need to be careful. All in all I would recommend this product to others.

Bought it because it was on sale. What an amazing buy. The robot is very cute like Wall-E and has a good engaging friendly AI personality. The kids love itI like how it greets you saying your name, sneezes or has a silly response.The programming is top notch. The scratch like programming is fun for kids but won't actually teach them much in way of real programming. I think it is fine as it is a toy.The eyes of the robot are really well done and expressive.I think I also heard the robot say "Cool" in a drawn out way once with the cubes stacked a certain way.Really recommended even at its full price. The makers of this toy deserve it.

This is the coolest little robot ever. It learns. It plays. It has reactions that a 5 year old would have. It recognizes your kids face and says their name, it also recognizes my face and says "Mommy". It recognizes the family cat, freaks out and starts meowing. Super cool. The pricetag is higher than what Mom would generally pay for a toy, but Santa is a high roller. There is an open coding option, so I am telling myself this has some educational opportunity here. If only it could pour a glass of wine after the kids go to bed.....Come on, Anki. A little help for Mom's with a wine pouring robot?

Bought this for my husband for christmas cause he has wanted one to play with for a while. We really thought it was cute. The robot is so simplistic and easy to use with some fun games, so it'd be perfect for a younger recipient. Either way the bot has a lot of personality. Only issue I saw was that after a couple initial uses it wasn't as good as not falling off ledges. Still a super neat toy.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I purchased this for my sons 9th Birthday, he absolutely loves it and hasn't hardly stopped playing with him yet. Cozmo seems to learn more everyday and even when he's left alone is very entertaining to watch. He's really been a lot of fun for the whole family. It didn't take my son long to figure out all of Cozmos functions on the app, they're really very simple. Linking Cozmo to his phone was also very simple. I would highly recommend Cozmo for anyone who has children interested in robots or STEM related toys.

We purchased Vector first for our 12 year old and his younger brother kept stealing Vector and allowing the bot to wander off. He also had some trouble getting Vector to understand his voice commands. So we decided to purchased Cosmo for the 5 year old and & he loves it. Their AI personalities are SO different. My kids love them both & the best part is that Cosmo doesn’t wander off on his own like Vector when left unattended by the little one.Cosmo has been fun for the whole family. He can identity us all and has tons of personality. It’s hilarious to see skeptics warm up to him when we show them the bot. You can tell they seriously question why we would buy this for a 5 year old, but after seeing our son interact with it and work the app by himself, they usually end up playing right along with him; having a blast as well! YES, 5 is a bit young. I don’t recommend such an advanced/ expensive toy for ALL 5 year olds, but you be the judge of your own child’s ability to play responsibly. Note: this is why we chose Cosmo for the younger child, over Vector.

I got this for my son for Christmas because all he had been wanting and talking about was this little robot for over 6 months. He was so excited to play with it once he ripped off the wrapping paper and saw it was a Cozmo. The excitement turned to sadness and anger within a few hours after the Cozmo stopped connecting to the internet and wouldn't wake up.The instructions that come in the box are NOT very detailed. All they tell you is how to initially setup the robot. After that, you are on your own which is crap for how much this thing costs. I returned the robot for a replacement and had the same issue so I got in contact with Anki support who was able to assist with the not working after being in sleep mode issue. It's been a few days and so far so good.I gave one star due to the lack of instruction on the instructions and for them ruining my son's Christmas. Also the cubes don't light up as they should.
